The place is beautiful and absolutely perfectly located if you like city holidays, close to shops, close to the sea, close to everything. I would just like a broom and mop in the unit as it is advertised as self catering. You will definitely need to use room cleaning services if you stay longer. I would definitely recommend this place.

Although the parking area is a bit tight for larger vehicles such as vans, it is very safe with 24-hour security. The Spar and Woolworths located on the ground floor make it very convenient to quickly get something to eat or other necessities. You don't even have to leave the building if you don't want to.
Checking-in was quick and to the point. Our unit was neat and clean with basic cutlery and eating utensils that came in handy. The hotel is situated in a building with many useful businesses such as a hair salon, spa, coffee shops, Woolies food, Spar, etc. Well located near the beach and local restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was not affected by the ongoing load shedding, as it had generators running. Housekeeping attended to the unit daily in a friendly and professional manner. We will certainly visit the hotel again when in Cape Town.
The rooms were exactly what we saw in the pictures! The view from our room window with the large windows that open and let in the sea air was great!
Saturday night's music was deafening on the second floor in the restaurant.

New Kings Hotel was a lovely small hotel and offered a lot. The customer service was excellent, they were very welcoming. The WiFi wasn't the greatest but other than that I have no complaints.

Reception was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very scarce and scarce, but it was free and covered. There was no buffet breakfast available and we didn't feel very safe because the lift could get anyone in and up to the rooms. Furthermore, the room was very comfortable, clean and tidy and we slept well. I arranged extras for room and it was done effortlessly as I asked it to be.
