Cute house with everything you need.
We arrived in the evening to a warm house (and electric blankets on) and left early the next morning. The host was most accommodating and friendly. Will stay there again next year!
We were a group of 7 with 2 elderly folk travelling as well. We had an urgent need to find accommodation (2 hours) and Lekkeslapp and The Old Country House stepped in. What a pleasure to deal with people who make one feel welcome, even when it put them under pressure. A very pleasant guest house, one of the oldest buildings in Fouriesburgh, so always needing some TLC, clean, and well-appointed.
Lovely old stone house with a lovely coal stove and cozy rooms. Sarah is a lovely hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The morning coffee on the porch in the winter sun while children frolicked on the grass was definitely a highlight.
