Cats, dogs, and the pool was dirty. My child is scared of cats and dogs. She was not comfortable at all. The cats climb in bed.
Very nice place to hang out.
I needed accommodation to attend the rugby festival at Gray High School. The Orchards is very close to the school and therefore fulfilled my main requirement 100%. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have everything needed. The reception by the owner accompanied by Bruno (I think that's his name) the bulldog (be careful that body can wiggle when the gate is open) was very friendly and later the 3 cats saw that I looked lonely and kept me company. The one downside is that there isn't a kitchenette, but that wasn't a problem for me at all as I mostly ate out. The golf course is also walking distance and this course has a fantastic walking path around the entire course that is open to the public so I did a lot of walking. So if kitchen facilities are not high on your list of necessities, feel free to stay at The Orchards. I will definitely visit them again if I have to stay in Gqeberha in the future.
Only downfall of the stay was that there isn't a proper kitchen as well as it wasn't cleaned. Unfortunately it was very dusty and the bed sheets weren't clean, besides that beautiful and very safe. If you're not a dog or cat person I wouldn't recommend. But I love dogs and they are very very friendly.

The bathroom was not clean. Shower glass was dirty. Bath plug does not seal, water runs out even though plug is pushed in. Light is full of bugs. Lighting is poor, especially at gate and kitchen and sleeper couch area. No cutlery. Sleeper couch is extremely uncomfortable and not at all suitable for adults.
Quiet area. People are friendly.
Good value for money. Also, a nice safe area.
The place is very beautiful, it is spacious and the hosts were very welcoming. We were short of wood and they assisted us with it, but they didn't have glasses, plates, spoons etc.
Our host was very loving and welcoming. The hospitality that we got was on a 100% and we are looking forward to visiting the place again soon.
Great stay, my children's comment was that it felt more like visiting family than the traditional guest house. The disadvantage is that your vehicle sleeps in the street, but the security is sufficient that one does not have to have sleepless nights about this. I will definitely stay here again.
