Used accommodation to do Alzu MTB race. It worked well. Breakfast was nice!
Unit's stove was faulty and caused us to not be able to prepare food or blow dry hair for 2 days because we had no power. The stove and kitchenware were dirty. There wasn't even a braai for the self-catering unit. Would not recommend them at all, not sure how they are rated 4 star. In all our years of travel this was definitely the worst stay ever.

We stayed in the self-catering unit and it was adequately equipped although the TV channels were limited (that's for teenagers!). The bathroom has a lovely shower and bath and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Orion is a beautiful guest house and Johan made us feel right at home.
Unfortunately, there was a mix-up, because we were expecting the guest house on the 23rd and the reservation was from the 24th. We would have liked to have breakfast as well and there was no reservation for breakfast. The reception was warm and friendly and everything was soon rectified. Thank you very much, it was pleasant.

I had a good night stay the Orion. The room was clean, tidy and memorable. Only critic: coffee provided in the room was a bit cheap; the towels are small and old. Regardless, I would recommend the Orion.
We stayed there as a group for 5 days. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, it's truly a very pleasant place to stay.

Accommodation for children up on the roof was very warm; we made a bed for them on the ground. The location, cleanliness and service are not a problem. The parking is few.

From our booking, the service was excellent and the Orion Guest house carried us on their hands. The Honeymoon Suite we stayed in was incredibly romantic and exactly what we had in mind for the start of our engagement weekend.
