Very nice big house, children really enjoyed the pool and table. Will book there again. We stayed in the Maple house, which was amazing.
The most striking is the peaceful nature. Maple House is furnished with exceptional furniture and everything testifies to fine taste and quality. A big treat time.
We had a lovely stay at The Outpost. The farm has 'farm cats' who like to visit the guests.
Very nice. Water is light brown, but it didn't bother for shower. Tapped drinking water at office.
This is a nice property, but just lacks finishes - lots of things that don't work, or are hobbled together. It was as if they weren't quite ready for guests. Bedside lights with no outlets. The top house (Alpine) was an ice box, impossible to warm up, and despite sleeping 8, had only 4 forks.

I sought silence. The farm is a peaceful getaway. Lovely location close to town. Dirt road is convenient for any vehicle. Trout ponds are located nearby. Thank you for sharing a piece of the farm with us.
Would have liked to have DStv. It's cold and people hang out around the fireplace and TV.
I would disagree with the advertisement that it is "dog friendly". The horses roam the farm as it is a horse farm. The two ponds are very far from the house and there is not really a walking trail. The photos on the website give the impression that the dam is right next to the accommodation - which is not the case. We had load shedding and power outages all weekend. Unfortunately the house is not equipped with flashlights, candles or any other battery lights that we could have used in the evening. It's a beautiful setting and we still had a great time - just a shame our dogs couldn't move freely on the farm.
