The Owl House is a comfortably furnished, self-catering house situated in Kersbosstrand, Dwarskersbos. This holiday home is 200 meters from the beach.

In the separate scullery, there is a washing machine and a dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, an iron and an ironing board. T-towels, washing up cloths and dishwashing liquid are supplied.
The open-plan living area offers a 6-seater dining room table, sofas to relax on, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a large wood-burning stove that will keep the house cosy and warm in winter. The living area leads to the braai room, which has a built-in braai area, a 6-seater table and chairs; a braai grid, braai rack and braai tools are provided.
Off-street garaged parking is available for 2 vehicles, behind the house.
In Dwarskersbos, there are 2 cafes that sell food and a bottle store. There are 2 restaurants, The See-Kaia and Deli on Main, a hairdresser, an interior décor shop and a laundromat. There is a large supermarket in Laaiplek, and a shopping mall in Vredenburg. There are 4x4 routes in the area, as well as many gravel roads for mountain bikers.

Everything was available in the house to make our visit special. Clean and tidy with the basics available, bottled water, coffee, etc. Greeted us and was available and literally around the corner. Will definitely visit there again.
Our stay at the Owl House was amazing - a home away from home. We enjoyed our time immensely and are looking forward to coming back in the summer!

The pictures don't do it justice! Owl House is spacious and immaculate with lots of thoughtful touches, great appliances and well-equipped kitchen that makes a long stay self-catered holiday very comfortable. We really enjoyed the indoor log fire on the cold winter's days as well as the enclosed braai. The beach is maybe a 200 m easy walk away. The double lock-up garage was an added bonus. Nigel is a gracious and kind host who made us feel very welcome. We would recommend Owl House any day!

Our host was great and very helpful, the venue was well-situated close to the beach and the venue had a good backup power system and gas stove; really sailed through the loadshedding times. There weren't too many other places that offered the same package and we appreciated this.
The Owl House is fantastic. It is so beautiful and neat and luxurious. The house is very large and well maintained. The owner is very friendly and we were well received. The area is special and we will definitely go again.
