Having never been there before, we didn't know what to expect. The Queen of Calitzdorp did not disappoint. They had already gone out of their way in advance to do some extra things for me because we arrived on my wife's birthday. Very impressed. Nice big room and view over wine fields.
We were quickly greeted and shown everything, the beds are the best, we had a great night's sleep!

Great night's sleep at The Queen of Calitzdorp. The room is very clean and neat and the linen is great quality. Divine breakfast and friendly service. Stunning view of Boplaas vineyards from the patio (pity it was winter time so no leaves on the vines). A bigger selection of TV channels would have been nice.
The room was beautiful and neat, yet small. Even though the room was very small, the people were so friendly and we felt at home. Delicious breakfast!
We had a wonderful stay and were sorry we only stayed one night. The reservation for dinner was also made by Queen of Calitzdorp, and was delicious. Nice clean facilities. Will stay there again.

It was lovely and centrally located. Secure covered parking for our vehicle. Security is good and we felt safe. It was cold and unfortunately the (gas) fireplace only worked the day of our departure, after 4 nights there. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly and have gone out of their way to make it special for us.
