Spacious, clean and in a very quiet area. Garage, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Beds and beds good, good quality.
It was one of the best overnight stays ever. Very friendly, clean, spacious, everything works, safe and it's really 400 meters from George Parkrun. The view of the mountains and the Botanical Garden is incredible. The perfect host. Writer and painter/artist of stature. Thank you very much for the professional and friendly personal attention.

Very neat places with enough space. Everything is in the cottage that is needed. Really enjoyed the five days in George.
Such a beautiful, well-kept cottage. It's wooden, so it is warm in the winter. The beds have electric blankets too. The gate, garage, and front door have electronic locks so we could access them with an app on our phone. I liked that the decor was minimalistic, and I didn't have to put anything away because of my children. There were also 2 scooters available for them. The host was lovely. He responds quickly to any reasonable request. We enjoyed our stay.
It was pleasant. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend adding a tumble dryer as George is a very rainy town and an aircon.

We loved our stay. Downfall was when load shedding, there was no hot water. Even though this is mentioned in the information, one still wishes for a hot shower after a day's travel or activities. Not being informed of time of load shedding was a hindrance. Having said that, friendly & lovely all in all.

I took my wife with me on a work related visit and therefore we could only stay one night. The Railway Cottage is brand new, beautiful, well equipped and very neat. It has everything you need for self-catering. The outside braai is covered and has loungers with a view of the Outeniqua mountains. There is parking inside a garage that can lock. Access to the property is via an automatic gate. Each guest has their own plot and its very private. I will stay here every month from now on!
