The self-catering home can accommodate 10 people and consists of 5 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a shower. The main room is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom. All the other rooms have 2 single beds and share the second bathroom/Shower. The fully equipped kitchen contains a stove, microwave oven, a fridge-freezer, and an additional chest freezer, as well as glasses, crockery and cutlery for 10 persons. There is also an industrial washing machine. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower or bath.
The spacious lounge and dining area has uninterrupted sea views, with sliding doors leading out to a covered patio and then onto an open verandah, which has a built-in braai area, where you can enjoy sundowners and admire the sea breeze and lovely ocean views, where dolphins and whales are often sighted. The property also has a protected swimming pool for your enjoyment.
The property is semi-walled with an electric fence and the house is secured with an alarm system and roboguards, and is linked to a security company. There is a double lock-up garage, with plenty of extra parking within the fenced portion of the property.
At the front of the property, guests have direct access down to the ocean and a tidal rock pool, which is ideal to laze in and when the beach, sea, sand.
The housekeeper lives on the property, and will service the house daily to make your stay more enjoyable. Excluding pubic holidays and Sundays.

6 guests' feedbackThe Ramsgate Cottage is ideally located with a small beach almost right on the doorstep. We had a great time sitting on the porch and watching the whales and dolphins frolic. Lungo is indeed a plus. She cleaned the house from corner to corner every day and even did our laundry to make sure we could all just relax. The house is tidy, very well furnished and spacious. We will definitely stay there again in the future. They were very accommodating when our friends stayed over for a few nights and communication is excellent.
Lungo made us feel very welcome, best housekeeper, wouldn't have been the same without her. Place needs some maintenance and ceiling fans in every room. Very neat, just very outdated. Very nice stay.

The place is so nicely located. Big place with enough bathrooms, spacious. Would only recommend a gas stove for power outages. Great. great great
The caretakers are amazing and really made the stay even more wonderful. Thomas and his wife were so helpful and did the most amazing job going over and beyond to make our stay one of the best holidays I’ve ever had. The cottage is spacious, clean, neat and serviced everyday. Right on the beach and extremely safe and secure. Already planning when we can make another trip and booking. Big thank you to Thomas and his wife, and the owners for an outstanding facility.
We were 12 people, 10 big, 2 small. The house is very well furnished. The common area's furniture might just wear out over time with so many people. Overall the service from the website was amazing and the holiday home along with it.

House rules
You are required to take your own bath and beach towels. All other linen is provided.There is no TV, however, there is a satellite dish so you are more than welcome to take or hire a TV and a decoder.
The arrival and departure times vary between long term and weekend bookings and will be confirmed with your enquiry.
Terms and Conditions:
In essence, the property caters for family holidays, therefore the owner has sole discretion for all adult parties, be it couples/male/female/students and or teenagers. Please indicate how your party is made up when applying as an all adult party.
1. Only the amount of people booked as per your booking form will be allowed on the property. Overcrowding will not be permitted.
2. If you exceed the number of people allowed, legal action will be taken against you and will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
3. Visitors allowed in moderation - if excessive and every day your refundable breakage deposit will be withheld.
4. Under no circumstances, do the hosts allow any social event to happen on the property, unless by mutual agreement and without written consent. This includes but not exclusive to, birthday parties, bachelor or hens parties, wedding reception.
5. The property is located in a residential area hence tenants agree to abide and behave in a reasonable, quiet manner. No excessive loud music, noise kept to a reasonable level and quite by 11 p.m.
6. The property is underwater restrictions. No water pipes or hoses are allowed to wash cars etc. Water supply and pressure is out of the host's control and is controlled by UGU.
7. No Slaughtering of live animals on the property is allowed.
8. No pets allowed, regardless of size, or how well trained they are.
9. No items, including kitchen utensils belonging to the property, are to be removed from the property.
10. The owner is in no way liable to the tenant or his/her family/visitors for any personal injury sustained whilst occupying the house.
11. The owner is in no way liable to the tenant or his/her family/visitors for any loss/damage of personal belongings and or vehicles which may occur while the tenant occupies the house.
12. Failure to comply with the above will result in immediate eviction with no refund. The home is a self-catering, which means that the following supplies are for your account, toilet paper, bath soap, dish liquid, bin bags, washing powder etc. There is no TV.
