4 guests' feedbackWe were in Tzaneen for provincial hockey tour. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy, we lacked nothing. Linen was clean and fresh. Owners went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible, and made sure we were happy every day. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, beautiful view over the valley. Food is delicious and affordable. We enjoyed our time there.

It was the worst experience ever. First, the people's dog is everywhere. Already trampled our room dirty when she unlocked it. Second, did someone leave their soap with private hair in the shower. Third, there was half a roll of toilet paper. Nothing extra. The porch and chair were so dirty we had to dust them ourselves to be able to sit there. When we wanted to use the restaurant, we walked into an awkward conversation with the woman who received us and 2 men and another woman. You could tell things were awkward and one man kept saying over and over how sorry he was. We received no service, no one even bothered to offer us service at all. No one received, just absolutely ignored. We got up and walked to the bar area, the whole place was full of bikers and there was no place to be helped. I think that The Red Oak does not meet any standards at all. Their bathrooms and towels are in condition. I would really like my money back. We chose to eat somewhere else instead and rather leave the place early the next morning. With the conversation we overheard when we wanted to visit the restaurant, we realized that we would rather not tell the management or owners ourselves what our experience was there.
