The cottage comprises 1 bedroom and an open-plan living area and is fully equipped to make guests' stay comfortable. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size bed with percale linen. The bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Soap, shampoo and toilet paper is supplied.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, 1-plate induction hob and a microwave oven. Furthermore, there are enough crockery, glasses, knives and forks and kitchenware. A small container of complementary milk, coffee, tea, and sugar are supplied for the first night, and a bottle of red wine is provided for each booking.
The cottage is completely detached with a street entrance, secure parking behind an automatic gate and its own garden.
Although the neighbourhood is safe, the cottage is equipped with a security gate, burglar bars and an alarm for guests' peace of mind.

My stay in The Red Wine Cottage was generally enjoyable and convenient. The location was ideal for a series of medical treatments close to Die Boord shopping complex. The Red Wine Cottage is comfortable, quite well equipped and in a quiet and safe suburban area which is also close to the centre of town and Stellenbosch University. The tranquility of the neighbourhood also helped me to focus on the work that I needed to do while in Stellenbosch. The host is a very helpful and considerate.

Thank you very much Antionette for the lovely stay. The place was neat and well equipped, but a heater for the cold evenings is recommended. We had a wonderful stay, it's safe and close to a shopping center and Mediclinic.
The owner made a special effort to get the unit ready for our visit at short notice. The cottage is well equipped and ideal for short or long stays. The private entrance with its own garden and indoor parking is also a big plus. We can confidently recommend the Red Wine Cottage.

The Red Cottage is a comfortable place to stay close to Stellenbosch. Slept great and would definitely stay there again.
The cottage was cosy and homey. We immediately felt welcome. The owners were kind and genuine. The cottage looked exactly like the pictures (but even better in person)! It felt like a little home-away-from-home holiday house. The cottage had all the necessary amenities to make us feel relaxed and at ease. We would have loved to have stayed longer!
Located in a safe quiet neighbourhood. Owners went out of their way to make you feel at home. Stayed there while there was loadshedding. Minutes after the power went out the owner brought lamps. The accommodation felt like our own house. Will definitely go back.
