The Rest Farm-The Garden House is situated at the top of the water catchment deep in the Sneeuberg Mountains in the Karoo, approximately 16 km along a dirt road from Nieu-Bethesda. This is the ideal place for families to enjoy affordable accommodation and connect with farm life. You can relish the silence with the option of participating in farm activities. Enjoy the stream that runs through the old forest, take long mountain hikes, go mountain biking, watch birds, and stargaze. You can also watch the cows being milked or help with herding the cattle.

This cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the remaining 2 bedrooms each contain 1 bunk bed. Guests share a bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet, located outside the unit.

The living area features an open-plan design with a fully equipped kitchen, including a 2-plate gas stove, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and crockery. A 4-seater dining table in the kitchen is perfect for meals. The lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating and a fireplace, ideal for colder nights.

Outside, guests have access to a braai area with breathtaking views of the mountain.
