7 guests' feedbackNo reception from hostess or host. Room was not pre-cleaned. Cobwebs in corner of room and curtains dirty. No preparation was done. Young man came to put gas in while we were there. DStv also inserted only then. No coffee or tea or sugar in room. Had to inquire for WiFi code after all of the above were advertised on the website.
Place has potential. Still wondering where the beautiful pool is in the photo. Would rather choose another place next time. Power went out as well as heater gas and geyser shut off in the early evening and this with sub-zero temperatures outside!
The unit doesn't have plugs for the bathroom of kitchen sink. The cutlery for 2 and a half people and the curtains need serious attention. The descriptions and pictures on the site do not reflect reality.
Communication was extremely poor and not transparent due to final accommodation arrangements. The Chalet had a serious roof leak which the owner quickly sorted out and I have to give them credit for the quick response there.
The DStv did not work. After a hard day's work, the men just wanted to relax and watch TV. Owner said he would call but nothing happened. Will book at one of the other places instead next time.
I was really excited about the bass fishing advertised just to be told the accommodation excludes the dam and the facilities. No one there when we arrived, they just left the key under the door.
Dirty, neglected, unsafe and bad service.
