We were two people who slept over one night. The room had its own entrance and was very large with a large en-suite bathroom with a shower. The B&B is ideally located just before the town and we had fast, friendly service. Everything was very clean and tidy with all the necessary amenities available to us. Our car was safely parked inside at no extra cost. Absolute value for money, and we would definitely recommend The Ridge Bed and Breakfast.
My husband, 2 kids and I had a large room which was really comfortable and large enough for the 4 of us. The decor was nice and the room was clean. The beds were really comfy so we had a good rest. We only stayed for the one night and did not have breakfast the following morning. We weren't asked if we would like breakfast which I think we should have been so can't comment on that. The TV in the dining room was really loud and could be heard from our room. It was turned down by the time we went to sleep so it didn't keep us awake. Will stay there again if I happen to be in the area.
An air con in the room will be an asset, but rooms are convenient and very comfortable beds.
Great place, very clean and best service.
Easy to find, pointers and direction clear. Very warm and professional ladies who are helping there. Neat and clean bedding, in actual fact rooms are more beautiful than in the pictures. I didn’t have breakfast with them though. Will definitely recommend it.
Room has a fridge, microwave, kettle and cups to make coffee/tea, and a TV. My stay was very comfortable.
The rooms were really clean and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.
I made a reservation on the day. When we arrived at the guest house the lady at reception did not know about us and made us feel very unwelcome. She was only curt and minimally helpful. She did make a room available for us after a while. It felt like guests were arriving or leaving the B&B throughout the night. I'd rather try somewhere else next time.

Staff was unwelcoming. They were surprised by my booking a bed and breakfast stay. I didn't receive breakfast because they did not have adequate staffing. The room was good and clean. Value for money is okay, but not great.
Area was disappointing. Neat with the necessary warm blankets. Shower and sink faucets leak a lot and spill water - maintenance, attention needed. It was just a sleepover - nothing "wow".
When we got there we were not on the guest list, despite me confirming with the owner himself. The area in front of the rooms was dirty, although the room was clean. The bathroom is tiny and the pillows are awful. We were disappointed that she did not inform us that breakfast was not served during the holidays, we had to find out in the morning from an employee in her night clothes, as the owner was never there.
Neat and clean rooms, we were kindly received and affordable. Will definitely stay there again.
Good value for money and safe.
We spent the night here with a 4-month-old baby, and the hostess, on her own initiative, booked us into a room with a bathtub. It made things a lot easier, I really appreciated it. Very clean and tidy.
Highly recommended. Neat room and good quality linen. There was even an electric blanket. The fridge, micorwave and kettel were in working order. Very friendly staff and breakfast was delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone anytime.
Despite the fact that we didn't get the rooms we booked, we enjoyed the stay here and the service was great. The owners also gave us free breakfast to make up for the exchanged rooms. We will stay there again anytime and will recommend it.

Nice B&B in a quiet area of Mthatha, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There is safe off-street parking and enough space for a trailer. The breakfast was very nice just no filter coffee! The staff were friendly.
The B&B was easy to find, very neat, very secure and their service was top-notch. The rooms are spacious and well prepared, my stay was short and sweet. I'll definitely stopped when I visit Mthatha.
Once again it was really good value for money, and for us it was the perfect overnight stop on the way to our destination. Could not believe the place was so neat. The people were also very friendly. They could maybe just tell the receptionist to dress a little more appropriately.
We had a nice stay there. There just wasn't a living area where we could socialise, the 6 of us had to sit in one room to be able to talked to each other.
