46 guests' feedbackWe stayed for one night and wished it could be longer. From arrival to departure, the staff was friendly and attentive. The room decor is calming and peaceful, and everything needed is provided. The breakfast was top-notch, and the view over the ocean was amazing. The only negative was that our room had an interleading door which compromised privacy and we could clearly hear the TV playing in the next room. Other than that, it was a great stay.
I highly recommend the Robbeberg Beach Lodge. The staff are very friendly and helpful and their service is excellent. The Lodge offers good value-for-money accommodation and is very well located with a nice view over the Robberg reserve and the sea. We did not experience any load shedding there during our stay and it is very safe there.

The hotel is beautiful inside, the view is picture-perfect and the dressing gowns are thick and cuddly. We ate the most delicious breakfast every morning after our beach run at sunrise.

Generally no complaints but some positive criticism as feedback. Security, wonderful to have RFID tags but returning via Cottage Pie gate never worked so had to always return from beach via reception. Suggest that regular check done for working access in both directions. At breakfast, for people who enjoy tea (like us) the option of a pot and not just a teabag in a cup should be a default question from waiter. Another tip for some of the waiter staff, listen and confirm order placed. Some mornings, requests were ignored and wrong selection delivered, but was not a problem because all options were delicious. On arrival it was pouring with rain so it was wonderful to get a meal delivered to the room rather than travel out. Very much appreciated! Well done. Staff is pleasant, views from dining room and reception patio is wonderful.

I will just say that the expectation that the photos created and reality are quite different, although it was still a beautiful view. The photos create the impression that one is facing the sea, and this is not so. There is a road ahead of you and hordes of people using it. The only other disappointment is that they had a smoking area right below our room and it was unpleasant to have the smell of smoke in the room already from early morning.
The ad says beach views - we were on the ground floor and we looked into a tree; it says free WiFi which was non-existent. Quite disappointed!
