All the en-suite apartments are equipped with air-conditioning, DStv hotel bouquet, microwave, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster and all crockery and cutlery. Visit the patio called The Barn with its informal relaxing atmosphere, where a farm style breakfast and/or dinner on request is served. Rooms are serviced daily and issued with fresh towels. Ther are 3 spacious family rooms that can sleep 4 and 8 suites that sleep 2 guests and 3 suites that sleep 3 guests.
The rooms are spread over 2 properties across the street from one another. Both properties have a swimming pool and parking that are secure with electric fencing and motorised gates.
Breakfast and dinner is optional and is only available during weekdays.

The guest house is beautiful and tidy. The hostess and host go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's a real farm atmosphere in the heart of the city. The food is delicious and the facilities and accommodation are all that is required. Would definitely highly recommend for short and long term stays. The photos don't do the place "justice", it's much more beautiful there. We will definitely go again! There is loadshedding, but it does not have an effect on some of the facilities (wifi and DStv).

Judie was very welcoming! We would stay at The Rock again anytime. The pool and braai areas were very nice. The room is nice and big, nice clean and tidy. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and eating and visiting.

I would definitely recommend The Rock, homey atmosphere and the owners go out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible for you. Staff were all very friendly and competent.

Owner Andre and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place and nice decor, inside and out. Comfortable room with all the basic necessities to make for a comfortable stay. Generally peaceful and quiet, except due to the rooms next door the sound travels and we could hear everything happening in room 12. Unfortunately that poured cold water on our stay. Would definitely use this guesthouse again, just another room.
