Very nice stay at The Secret Cottage!
Made the booking on behalf of a friend and the host went out of his way to accommodate him. Even went to buy some groceries (coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and yogurt) for the kitchen. Only missed the absence of a dish towel in the kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is comfortable and cozy.
The owner was warm and hospitable. Myself and my daughter enjoyed the convenience of the cottage; it had everything you might need and was really awesome to still have access to the WiFi during load shedding. Will definitely recommend.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and had everything you need. I would come again! Parking in the garage is possible, but not necessary, as it is a safe area.

Very comfortable accommodation, pleasantly surprised by the garage parking. Filter coffee machine with pods and quality rusks was a welcomed treat.
The area is very safe and quiet. Really enjoyed it.
It is exactly as in the photos. We appreciated the coffee, sugar, tea, rusks, salt, pepper and olive oil. It's not something you just get from bookings. There were also plenty of towels, even though we were only there for the weekend. Was very impressed. Thank you Oswald.

The Secret Cottage is centrally located and the accommodation is good value for money. Oswald and Jana were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Will definitely stay there again next time I am in Cape Town.
Spotlessly clean, no noise, and we even had a lock up garage and towels.

The owners, with their 2 lovely little children, were very respectful. The area is very quiet, yet food outlets were very near. We had a lovely Christmas eve surprise with a 12 o'clock Brass Band marching pass playing Christmas carols. Utterly delightful.

Place is unkempt. Microwave dirty, not cleaned after previous guests. Exterior also not cleaned for a long time. Tomato sauce splatters on the wall. Soap Bowls full of soap scum. Curtains broken and dirty. No hangers. Dump dirt. Cabinets under sink have a musty smell. The place can be a good overnighter after it has been deep cleaned and certain items have been replaced.
The cottage was close to the places we needed to be as well as shops. It is also located in a quiet area with little traffic. It met all our needs. Just right for 2 people. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.
Clean, tidy and equipped with everything you could possibly need and then some extras too. The owners are on site and always available if you need anything. A lot of effort is made to make sure guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The folder with information about where cleaning products, blankets, etc. can be found is really a very cool idea. The Secret Cottage will definitely be my first choice when I stay in the Cape again.

Considerate and neat.
It is very safe. Just think it would have been a bit better if the entrance was private, not that there were any problems, but just feel like you're trespassing less because you walk past the front door every time to the accommodation which is on the same plot.
The unit is great value for money and I would stay here again anytime. All amenities one needs and more. Many thanks to the owners.
