The Shack has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Towels and extra warm blankets for colder evenings are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave oven, fridge, toaster, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. The lounge area has comfortable seating and leads to a veranda with a view over the valley. Guests can also use the braai facilities.
The Shack uses solar power and does not experience load shedding. There is also a gas geyser for hot water and water tanks provide clean rainwater.
The accommodation is on a hill on a working farm with mountain biking and hiking trails. The presence of sheep, cattle and fields adds to the natural atmosphere of the working farm. Break away from the city rush, recharge and enjoy this piece of heaven on earth.

6 guests' feedbackThe Shack is a little gem in a stunning setting with a beautiful view. We were very impressed with the good quality implements and equipment in the kitchen as well as the bedding. Decoration in the cottage is also very nicely done.
For a break from it all, the Shack was the perfect place. Was very good for the soul.

The Shack is also a very neat place to stay with a beautiful setting and view.
Stunning views of the mountains and valley below. Great that it's off the Eskom grid, so no inconvenience with load shedding. Glad I was in a 4x4 though as the roads were somewhat rough after the recent floods. Well worth a tricky drive to end up with the spectacular views. A downside is that the beds were hard and not particularly comfortable.
