Big yard, lots of space, big rooms and living area, very comfortable with lots to do, equipped with everything you could need, nice view, quiet environment but close enough to everything you want. And an excellent host, thank you very much can't wait to visit again.
Amazing stay for families with young children, the property had everything to keep them entertained. TVs in rooms for bad weather, pool, jacuzzi, bar area with games. Cannot recommend it enough for a family getaway, close to all amenities. Spotlessly clean and kitchen had everything you could ever need. Ample fridge and freezer space and multiple entertainment and braai areas. Also a pizza oven!
Very good. It was just the hot water in some of the rooms and the water pressure.
This is my 2nd trip to the Shack and my experience was even better than the 1st. The backyard kept my entire group entertained as there was something for each of us to enjoy (from the kids to the adults). The bedrooms were spacious & clean and the kitchen was fully equipped.
My children wanted to go away to the sea and I tasked them with finding a place within a budget that allows dogs. That's how we ended up at The Shack. Our dogs thought they were in heaven because of the size of the property. Our daughters were thrilled with the jacuzzi and we loved the space and the view which allowed us to do some whale watching too. Everything we needed was close by: the beach, small shops (main shops at Port Edward), good coffee. The hosts were helpful and kind and any query we may have had was answered quickly. We loved it.
