14 guests' feedbackThe hosts, Laetitia and Geert, went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible. From the regular communication in the run-up to our arrival to the welcoming committee of 7 donkeys and the final goodbye when we departed, they were the most gracious hosts. Breakfast at the coffee shop on the premises was excellent and was only eclipsed by the selection of Belgian beers we were able to sample, courtesy of our host and beer aficionado, Geert. Although the gravel road from Dullstrom to Tonteldoos is not for the fainthearted, you are rewarded with the absolute tranquillity and beauty of your destination, The Silver Kudu. Thanks for a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be back!
The owners are the nicest people I have met in a long time and they couldn't do enough for us. It was a wonderful experience and one that I hope we will be able to experience again. There is also a coffee shop that serves light meals which was really good. The whole weekend was just perfect!
Awesome, great best weekend in years. Geert and Letitia will help with anything, arrange and be there to ensure our visit was very very good there. Geert and Letitia you are great, cool and awesome people - thank you very much - our batteries are charged and can start again.

When you need a break and a break from the busy city, The Silver Kudu is definitely the place to go to catch your breath. In the silence of Tondeldoos we had fun together, visited nice places in the surrounding area and spent time as a family. I would definitely recommend The Silver Kudu.
We felt so welcomed and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, sunsets, as well as the visits from the friendly donkeys.
The donkeys that come to visit are a cute surprise. Fridge a bit small for 6 people's meat/food and ice but manageable. The coal stove is nice and cozy and breaks the worst cold, furthermore the silence and space and tranquility is a big plus especially if you want to rest and visit. Rooms spacious clean and tidy. Bathroom is lovely with the heater inside you almost don't want to give someone else a chance. The owners are incredibly helpful and cute! Remember it's a long dirt road to town so try to take everything with you (cost of mortgage).
Geert and Laetitia are very good/pleasant hosts and have a lovely indigenous bush property.
A perfect getaway for a weekend getaway with the family. Clean and comfortable with a blanket for cold evenings, close enough to the hustle and bustle of Dulla, but far enough to see nothing and no one around you. The tame donkeys only made the event even more special.

Very nice, neat and clean. The children could listen to their music as loud as they wanted without disturbing anyone. Dirt road a bit bad. Will not take to the road with an ordinary car.
Special natural beauty right at your feet, silence that makes your heart happy and gives your soul the necessary break from the city's rush. In addition, Geert & Laetitia are particularly friendly and helpful. We will all visit there again.
Geert and Laetitia immediately made us feel at home. Was so nice to just sit and talk, braai, stroll and ride bicycles. The absence of TV made our children become children again! Don't tackle the road with a vehicle that's too low. However, the gravel road was scraped and well suited for a bakkie. Tonteldoos has a countryside bar, coffee shop and general dealer.
Superb, would definitely recommend. Beautiful, the ideal place to rest with scenic nature.
