Beautiful, peaceful accommodation. Almost in the sea. Room is very well and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a self-help cash bar/coffee bar available 24 hours a day. Walking distance from Blue Peter and Ons Huisie restaurant. I can highly recommend it and have no negative comments.

It was my second visit to The Sir David and once again I enjoyed it very much. The location is outstanding and it is lovely to walk on the beach with good restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms are well-equipped and very neat. The previous time I had a sea view which is preferable but the private balcony that overlooks the swimming pool was also nice this time. The carpets in the room was a little dirty and that put me off a little and my bathroom window was right by the front door which was noisy because of the staff speaking to each other and on their cellphones quite loudly. I am nitpicking because everything else was perfect and I will definitely stay there again.

Neat, tidy, friendly reception.
It's more like a boutique hotel than a guest house. You get the privacy of a hotel with the homely feeling of a guest house. Good breakfast and many nice restaurants are within walking distance - I ate delicious fresh fish at Onse Huisie for dinner. The popular Blue Peter restaurant is also just around the corner. I was only there for one night unfortunately, but hope to go again for longer.

We spent our last 3 days in South Africa in this hotel, we hope to have a ocean front room, but at the swimming pool view was nice. Good position for the waterspout and for sightseeing of Cape Town.

The hotel is excellently located. We were only visiting for a weekend. There weren't many other guests, yet we rarely had nice hot water in the bathroom. The last night (Sunday night) as well as Monday morning the water was really lukewarm.

Location of the Boutique is wonderful. Everything about it was wonderful. It made our vacation even more worthwhile. My children enjoyed it as well. Very good and friendly service.
We really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel and rooms were clean, the attention to detail was good. The view was great and not to forget the very nice breakfast we had.
The General Manager (Claire Dinnie), went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The facilities and location were first class, and we will cetainly return again.
