14 guests' feedbackNeat, tidy and clean. Nice beach decor. Very quiet away from the touristy Agulhas. Lovely deck that you can sit on to view the sea. Bedrooms on the sunny side of the house, great for that afternoon nap. Walking to the beach is just down the road. A bonus, they have a dishwasher in the apartment.
Staircase difficult to navigate for anyone who is disabled/impaired.
When we first arrived, it was raining, but the house was nice and comfy for us to chill in. We had an amazing time, there was an inside braai and we enjoyed every moment of the weekend. The house had everything we needed and the view was so beautiful, waking up to that for the weekend was a highlight. The kids enjoyed it so much. Thank you again to the lovely Lorraine for accommodating me and my family.
Lorraine, the owner, was in constant contact with us to make sure that everything was to our liking. Beautiful place and it was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The place is wonderfully peaceful, safe and comfortable.
The house was perfect and comfortable. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the dirt road to get there. But it was the perfect setting for a rainy weekend. Thank you Lorraine we will definitely be visiting again soon.
Although the apartment was located well with lovely views, we noticed that the sliding door could not lock at all. This was a little worrying, even though Lorrainne did tell us that it is a very safe area. It would also have been great to be supplied with 2 clean bath towels. Fortunately we did have towels with us, but when travelling it does really help if one does not have to pack damp towels.

The house was clean, but everywhere in the rooms there were many spiders and cobwebs behind beds under beds in corners in rooms on lampshades by the bed and in the roof. There are strange bugs everywhere we almost had to spray poison, but I understand there are a lot of bushes around the house and it probably comes from there. The shower that wouldn't drain, I took pictures for you to see. I would like to go to that house again, had a good time but, there will have to be cleaning and also poison sprayed in the house. The upper shower leaks down to the bottom next to the indoor braai - attention will have to be paid to this, as well as the indoor braai is not allowed to be used, would love to use it when the weather is inclement outside. We had to braai outside in the cold wind - if only they could sort it out.
Peace and quiet, only sound of breaking waves wake you up in the morning.
Well wow! This is not the first time staying there. Beautiful house. Very well equipped for a perfect, relaxing holiday. Near beach and so peaceful.
View from the second floor over the sea is beautiful. It has all the basic things needed. We had rain all weekend and didn't mind staying indoors.
The rooms upstairs are very neat and modern. Downstairs the house was not very neat and clean. The shower had mould, the dishes were dirty in the cupboards and the furniture and armrest of the stairs were dusty.
This unique house is a feast for the eyes and is set up for a wonderfully relaxed holiday. There is plenty of opportunity for walking (the nearest swimming beach is half an hour's walk away), fishing and simply watching the birds while lying on the hammock. No shops in Suiderstrand, but L'Algulhas is only five km away by dirt road.
Quiet, peaceful getaway. The lack of MTN cell phone reception was a bonus for me as I could truly get away from work and relax. Well equipped accommodation with pleasing extras such as a dishwasher and more than ample fridge space. Beds were comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
