17 guests' feedbackI had messed up my days that I was going to be staying there, and the staff there were very nice and accommodating and let me take the room anyway. The room was really exquisite and clean. The restaurant, by far, and the beautiful scenery, was breathtaking. The mountains in the morning covered in mist really made me think I was in a fantasy world. Truly a place of sheer wonder and will be back again.
Very disappointed with the size of the resort and the quality of accommodation for the price. It was very cramped. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would prefer a separate braai for each chalet. There is a need for more seating at the riverbank.
Shower/bathroom facilities need attention.
The master bedroom is hopelessly too small and cramped. There is not enough space for 2 bedside tables/tables. Cold faucet in bathroom in our unit was out of order. There are just too many things that need attention. On the plus side: the bed, bedding and towels were a plus!
Nothing works. Kettle. Refrigerator. Shower floor flooded.

My door was not able to lock - nothing was done about this when I asked for assistance as I did not feel safe sleeping with an unlocked door. The room smelled of wet dog. We think it was the rug next to the bed where a dog may have been laying. The nearby town was incredibly loud throughout the night - music blasting and people shouting. We saw a man driving around town hitting dogs with a whip. This was very upsetting (not that it has anything to do with our stay at the resort, but the location matters if people are considering where they want to go to escape and relax). We could also hear every sound from every neighbour - every footstep, spoken word, movement, everything. The cold water did not work in my room and the hot water did not work in my friend's room. We asked for assistance, but nothing was done. Her fridge was also broken, the air-con didn't work, bathroom tap kept twisting, and bedding was dirty. The WiFi worked when we arrived, then stopped working for the rest of our stay.
What a fantastic resort, where fishing and relaxation are the order of the day.
A clean comfortable venue, with excellent views. My only suggestion would be to consider sound proofing the walls. This would greatly reduce the sound coming from neighbouring rooms.

Certainly not value for money. Except for the relatively new set of four units the rest of the wood cabins are old. My 10 year old daughter had to pay full adult price. Aircon only in main bedroom and is not effective. Had dinner at the restaurant - food was lousy and milkshakes were basically Nesquick (milk with Nesquick). Glad we only stayed for 1 night.
Nice visit and help from management, we sincerely thank you for the help when we forgot our wallet in the room. We were helped immediately and when we turned back for it and nothing was gone. Thank you very much, we really appreciate it.
