Beautiful springbok and geese and extremely well kept gardens. Only inconvenience was only 1 toilet inside the master bedroom with only half a wall between the toilet and bath separating the bed and bathroom. Teenagers therefore have to come into the master bedroom to use the toilet.
We were very impressed with the caravan. Loved the fact that it was situated close to the beach. The Stables is really beautiful. There seems to be lots for kids to do. [Host's first name] was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely book one of the cottages next time.

I would still recommend that it is clearly mentioned that the bathroom is open plan to the bedroom, and this can make it difficult to use if you have friends sleeping over.
My friend and I loved our weekend stay at The Stables. It was such a sweet cosy cottage. We felt the location was perfect in terms of being just outside Langebaan but not in all the noise and bustle. We loved the Springbok roaming the garden (sadly only 3 left). The tree has grown a lot more in the garden than in the photos, which are a bit old, so the view is a bit blocked but was a welcome shade under the tree on the very hot sunny day. The cottage was neat and clean, but a bit sparse in terms of condiments, no salt or pepper, so make sure to bring all you need. We loved the braai facility and sat on the stoep all evening and felt very relaxed in our little Langebaan location. We had an issue with WiFi for a day, and the service we got to help us was exceptional. We were very happy with that service and with the prompt attention to fixing our issue. We can only highly recommend the little cottage, and certainly will come back and stay.
The atmosphere was lovely! Quiet, neat and comfortable. Nice farm feel. We and our little children thoroughly enjoyed it.
Easy to find, clear communication from the owners regarding check-in (was flexible). Loved the view and springbok walking around. Guests in the neighbouring cottage were 'loud' and were requested by the owner to vacate the premises. Owners care about their guests.

Staying at Cottage 1 was a treat. Neat and cozy. Children were fascinated by the animals and we enjoyed the beautiful view from the veranda. Communication with the office was excellent. Would definitely recommend The Stables Cottages.
Lovely little place and equipped in typical simple west coast style - as it should be. Springboks that can be seen everywhere are beautiful, along with geese and other duck species. View from the veranda to Saldanha Bay is beautiful. Will definitely go again.
We really enjoyed our time away as a family. I love the fact that we were out of the hustle and bustle of the town, but still close enough, to enjoy what Langebaan has to offer.
The kids loved the ducks, geese and springbok, and a sweet black and white cat joined us for the night, too! The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. Thank you!

It was a wonderful experience to meet the owl near our apartment. Big turtle, beautiful spring goats, ducks, rooster with hens. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings.
Unfortunately only stayed one night as we were participating in West Coast Marathon. Delicious barbecue when we got there and sleeping place was perfect. Everything we needed. Will go for weekend next time!
The place was clean, amazing decor, well equipped. Also love the farm feeling with the goats, chickens and geese. There was also a cat, Felix, who came to visit us and made himself at home on the couch. Cornelle recommended us a place to eat that was just as stunning. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

It's the 2nd time we stay at The Stables in Langebaan. We have been in cottage 1 and this time in cottage 2. Both are very neat and comfortable, but cottage 2 is slightly better in my opinion because it is more private. The place was again spotless and Cornelle was very professional. Note that the cottage is right next to the Tables restaurant where functions are held. It was very noisy with drunk people shouting and loud music playing until after 11pm. I do understand that the owners couldn't help it. But just be aware before you book. The other small problem is the terrible goose or chicken droppings that cover the entire children's park, so that my 4-year-old could no longer take the stench. It's quite disgusting to be honest. Maybe thin out those geese a bit. We saw 3 spring goats in total on the yard, they are very cute.
We did a one night layover for a sports tour. Goats, chickens and cat were very nice to have with us. Cottage was very neat and well equipped.
We chose the location for tranquility, just a pity there was a party held at the restaurant with very loud music, until late in the evening. Broke their own rules I can almost say. Other than that very cute.

If you want the getaway of a lifetime to just find your soul, The Stables Cottages is definitely the place. The goats and turtle and ducks that pass so close to the house are the best. Then there is the most beautiful black cat that I almost wanted to pack, because she is so polite.

The stay was very pleasant, after we sorted out the hot water problem.
Day 1 when we arrived the place was dirty, dusty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The dishes had to be cleaned again and even 1 pot was totally unusable. This was replaced by the staff here. For the price we are paying we'd expect things to work and a certain level of attention to detail. For example, R1500 per day for a 1 bedroom cottage, should allow them to check the braai daily and clean it if needed, and provide wood, which is currently being charged at R30 rand per 15 pieces. I know this may seem silly of a sentence but it goes a long way to show they are not just interested in the money but the people staying here. The induction stove provided does not work and we had to use the oven top stove which requires my wife to stand on a chair and cook. Upon mentioning this to the staff here we are told to put the stove on the dining table to lower it. I really do think the cost of this place needs to be reassessed as what we are paying does not indicate what we get.
It was incredibly peaceful. House has everything one needs. Toaster coffee machine, microwave and stove. Child friendly. Beautiful decor.

What stood out to me was that the unit was fully equipped with everything a family could need on vacation. The animals were also a big attraction for our kiddie. Thank you it was a pleasant experience!

Would have liked just mats for the shower and bath, as well as salt and pepper in the kitchen. Double layer toilet paper and the bench outside by the hearth were lame, and need to be replaced in my opinion. There were also no plugs for the sinks and the shower's arrangement is not that nice and sturdy, but can go. Just my opinion and hopefully seen as constructive criticism!

The Stables is a beautiful place. We stayed in cottage 1. We were 4 adults travelling together. According to the information, there was room for 4 adults. The photos showed 2 single beds and a double bed. There was no mention that the bathroom was an open-plan bathroom in one room. Upon our arrival there was a sofa bed with a low pull-out bed under the sofa in the living room. The bedroom has a double bed and single bed. It wasn't at all like the photos and description. The hostess did, however, at our request, provide a key for the unit next door for bathroom use throughout the night.
Cottage is neat and clean with all necessities. Nice view from porch while braaiing with a country/farm feel while Langebaan and shops are close by.

It was a very cute place to stay for one night. The arrangements went smoothly. They responded quickly to questions and were willing to help out with an earlier check-in time. There was nothing that came short. There is even a mosquito net, doom, iron and a closet full of games. Love the look of the place, with the bare pipes and the stone. Also crazy about the bath that's in the room. Will definitely stay here again, hopefully for a longer period, and recommend the place to others. Very neat, clean, comfortable and felt safe.
It is ideal for a short break or a long visit. Accommodation is neat and clean, the service first class. Whether you just want to sit back, or explore the West Coast, there is something for everyone. I can certainly recommend the place!
No reception. Caravan outdated, board floor by door rotting, needs attention before someone gets hurt, fridge door doesn't seal, door of caravan window doesn't close, only mesh with curtain for it. Bathroom facilities not to be desired, sink inside shower inappropriate.
The Stables is a nice quick break from the normal. The farm atmosphere surprises you in Langebaan. The goats that graze against your house contribute to a peaceful getaway. The rooster might have made his voice heard later! The cottages are cosily furnished and well equipped. Nice to leave your windows and doors open without looking over your shoulder! Then of course the West Coast National Park is a must! We were also privileged to visit Posberg! The beautiful scenery will stay with us for a long time!

Our stay was lovely. If you want to switch off from the city noise, it is heaven to just be at peace here. The springbuck are beautiful and the children enjoyed feeding them. The accommodation is beautiful and well equipped.
This establishment is even better that the photos. It is super child friendly and comfortable. The location is fantastic. The cottages are very spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a DSTV bouquet, a DVD player (kiddies DVD's supplied) and free WiFi. There is some Springbuck, ducks, chicken and tortoises that roam free on the property. The owners are awesome genuine people. Cornelle checked in daily to make sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We absolutely would recommend this accommodation and we will definitely visit again.

It was an amazing weekend and a peaceful atmosphere to say the least.
We stayed in the 'vintage' caravan and my husband immediately said that the 'vintage' meant to him: Our old family caravan which should have been written off rather than being offered to guests. The stove's gas is disconnected, so you can't actually cook, except for grilling (and the wind is actually always blowing!) or with a microwave which is very small. The bed's mattress moved around in its little hole and it wasn't very comfortable either. The bathroom is spacious but the shower is a mess because the sink is also inside the shower with its outlet in the shower hole with water that sprays all over the shower floor (and your feet) the next morning when you just want to brush your teeth brush. The houses definitely looked better, but I can't comment on that. There was soap in a bottle (in the shower) that had a label on it that said: Body Lotion! The owner may be able to charge R100 p.p.p.n. ask, but definitely not R250! We will give the destination a miss in the future.
It's nice and tidy, I can't complain, that bed in the caravan is just one awesome bed, slept so well. I got there very late, around 10 o'clock, the people kindly helped and welcomed me, even helping to unhook my trailer. I would stay there again, specifically in the caravan.
Nice people, nice environment: will go again soon. I would recommend The Stables to anyone looking for a peaceful setting with great great great accommodation. Very tidy and the hospitality is incredible. I would visit them again for a weekend anytime.
