Accommodation is offered in the main Stoke House which sleeps 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen and living area. A fireplace to keep you cosy in the winter months and a patio and braai for the summer evenings. The 2 units, namely Tippie and Tomac sleep 2 people and each unit has its own private amenities and kitchen facilities, patios, and braais. The main house and the 2 units can be rented out together for groups of up to 8 guests.
The Stoke House is pet friendly so the fur babies can join you in the mountains on your daily hikes as well welcomed by many of the local restaurants and shops catering for pets.

Everything and more than one expects. Neat, clean, quiet area, modern. Light for load shedding. We don't drink alcohol but there were free drinks at Clarens Brewery which is really nice. With extremely friendly staff.
Really enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to anyone.

We would definitely recommend this place, just a note, that it is close to a school. We just made sure we didn't come back until later in the afternoon (when school was out), but in the morning it's busy until school starts.
The Tomac unit itself was lovely, and everything about the unit and service as well. I cannot provide any fault thereof. If I could move the unit to a more quiet and secluded part of Clarens, however, I would. It is on a fairly busy corner, and it felt like people walking past (or working on the pavement) could see right into the unit, thereby having little privacy without closing the curtains fully, and a sense of safety as a solo traveller quetsionable.
Busy street, especially during the school term. The property is in close proximity to a school, and it gets noisy during school drop-off and pick-up.
The Stoke House is a beautiful place with everything one would need. We had a wonderful stay.

The place is very beautiful. We went to Clarens as part of the birthday weekend and the experience was out of this world. I am glad I could use a beautiful vase to put my birthday flowers. The table on the patio helped us to set up for our little lunch.
The furnishings and finishes are very well done.
We stayed in the main Stoke House and it was even better looking than the website images. As Lindsay owns the Brewery it would be really cool if she popped a sample of each beer they make in fridge, just an idea. Think even if the cost was added at cost price or something it would be a nice touch.
Very neat, clean and new. We really liked the stone colors in the decor and everything of good quality. Very nice accommodation.
I must add that Biddy from Clarens Accomodation was an absolute gem in swapping our empty gas bottle for a full one and supplying a bag of wood on Sunday at 4pm...Super service.

The accommodation is very nice, everything was tidy. Thanks for good service! Shower was a nightmare, water pressure must have been low on Sunday morning.
Was lovely, except that the guests in the other suite at 03:50 Sunday morning were terribly noisy and talking and laughing. It kept us awake a bit, but otherwise very nice and nice!
