9 guests' feedbackThis is our second time staying at the House and as usual we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our only problem is the network at the house is not very good, but other than that we had all the comforts of home.
What a lovely getaway. Bonus were the mosquito nets and ceiling fans in each double room. The kitchen was well equipped. There were also bird books and books about trees in the Kruger. Nice for quick reference.
We had a very pleasant stay.
No power on arrival. Customer forgot to charge power. Their neighbor came to help us. The pots and pans were dirty. The living room had not been dusted for so long that we didn't even want to sit there. There was no broom or mop. They didn't even have one roll of toilet paper on arrival. The braai area was some old bricks with a very dirty grill. The house would be very nice if better customer service would be applied and it would just be properly cleaned more often.
Would recommend more aircon's in upstairs bedrooms. It gets very hot upstairs and better signage at the entrance to the property.
The house is well located. In the kitchen we needed a whisk, otherwise it is very well equipped.
I would like to bring the following to your attention. The fridge/freezer is old and rusty. It took over 48 hours for a popsicle to freeze. The air conditioner in the living room does not work properly. The TV was stolen a week before our visit, it would have been nice to have been notified of that in advance. The crockery and glasses consist of odds and ends and some of the plates are chipped.
We feel that for what you pay, the place could be renovated and definitely cleaned decently after each visit.
Would like to see an improvement with the hot water. With the cloudy weather there were always cold showers. Feel free to provide wine glasses. Very nice location and lots of animals to see.
