We were 3 adults, and we had a wonderful stay. Our time at The True Rock was just woefully short. The staff were very friendly and helpful. What I enjoyed most was the fact that the staff visited with the guests around a delicious boma fire.

Friendly welcoming and assistance from Chris right through. Clean swimming pool and amazing garden. Sharing TV room with pool table to play with kids. The place is easy to access. Peaceful and serene, perfect for those looking to get away from the busy crowded city and take a moment with nature. We had a lovely stay. Big up to Bianca to make our booking easier and Mr Chris for assistance and the company at the fireplace boma.
The True Rock Venue is a very cute place and we had a great time.
My stay was so relaxing and peaceful. A great escape from the busy Joburg streets. I loved the place. A lot of trees and farm animals, and a play area for kids. My family and I were able to bond as we don't do that often because of work and school. Oh, not to mention our host who was always willing to assist with a friendly face all day.
The place is very nice, relaxed, a great place if you want to breathe away from town. So peaceful.

It was a great stay, great host. It was just unfortunate that we booked with an infant, but did not get a cabin with a bath tub and a stove to prep her meal; otherwise, the place was great. Nothing that can't be fixed. The photos online do not do the place justice; the place is amazing and beautiful.
The place is very quiet, but the house we stayed in was clean. They didn't give us kitchen cloths, no dishwasher, and there was a noise in the roof - mice in the ceiling.
The room was not clean and cramped. It was not suitable for 4 people. The bunk bed is an accident waiting to happen; there is no ladder to climb to the upper bunk bed, and no side rails to protect the children from falling.
I booked the accommodation for family, unfortunately they could not make it, but my 3 children went. 26, 18, and 10 years old. They had a fantastic stay. The owner was so good to them.
A huge thank you to Bianca, Ryno, Danie and the team. We were helped from arrival to leaving. For last minute arrangements, we had everything we needed, and what we didn't have, Bianca assisted with. They were customer-oriented and went beyond the norm. We enjoyed our stay even in the wet weather. I'd also like to mention the excellent condition of the pool on arrival and the lovely fire in the evening. The personal touches made a difference.
The host was unfriendly and rude to us. We did not have anyone to change our linen daily.
