We recently stayed overnight at this accommodation and it was a wonderful experience. The host was extremely friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed eating. The accommodation is very secure, which provides great peace of mind. The rooms were cleaned every day, which means that everything was always neat and tidy. It was very nice to come back to a neatly made bed every night. In addition, the environment was very quiet, which was ideal for a good night's rest. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and safe accommodation in Ficksburg.

Gavin and Calen are the ultimate hosts. The house is over a hundred years old, and Gavin has tried to keep as much as possible original. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, and the food is amazing. Definitely recommended.

The house is old (circa 1906) but is well maintained. The suite of bedrooms is new and well-furnished. We opted to have dinner as well. The food was excellent.
Despite a big storm that caused damage, we were carried on by our host. Our room, the "honeymoon suite" is beautiful, quiet and comfortably furnished. We also had a delicious dinner and breakfast.
