"Very quiet and beautiful view."

We loved our stay. We could see the whales while in bed which was the best part of our long weekend would definitely recommend the place!

1. The faucet in the kitchen is spinning. 2. The latch in the bathroom window is broken. 3. No hair dryer. 4. It was raining and wind was bad, didn't use outside table to eat. There are no alternative chairs or tables that you can eat at. Breakfast still no chairs. 5. There was a very long power outage in the Gansbaai area, no standby power or lights that were loaded to illuminate the rooms. Assistance lights were not recharged. 6. Towels were wet after first use and were constantly damp because they cannot be dried. 7. Feedback from the owner was one way from me as a customer to the owner. Sent WhatsApp, he did indicate we could use later on the weekend, but plane tickets were already booked and not possible to move (cost would be on my account). 8. The TV package cannot be used, the customer must use his own DStv package to watch TV. TV was therefore of no value or use. 9. I don't think customers should be told to clean and pack up after leaving place, owner's duty to contact cleaning service and clean up place after customers are out.

"Dirty home and nothing personalised to make you feel like you are on holiday."

We arrived at this place and under the beds was this white shavings and sand, around the shower as well, sand and this white-painted shavings, the toilet was yellow. All of us jumped into action to clean and make it more comfortable. There was no hair dryer yet this is a beach location. No iron, 4 sugar sachets and 4 coffee sachets so each person could only get 1 cup, I mean, how ridiculous. Each of us only had 1 towel we needed to use throughout our entire stay. There was this huge outside table positioned right in front of the TV so you could not watch or see anything when sitting on the couch because of this huge outside furniture inside of the house, which is very dodge because when you look at the online pictures its location is outside but when we got there, that was not the case. Lastly, the bath, my word, I was so appalled, the rim of the bath had this layer of muck with hairs stuck all around it and the plug. Worse experience of my life and people need to know. Never in my life have I gone on holiday and the host told me to clean before I leave? We are on holiday, we did not book your place to come spring clean. So learn from this and treat people the way you would want to be treated. I have nothing nice to say about this stay at all. They need to hire a cleaning service if they can't do it because people won't want to spend money on experiences like this.

We traveled with my parents. The apartment is small, but well furnished with a very nice view. Secure parking.
