Accommodation is available in a variety of room types which are able to accommodate from 2 to 5 adults, each individually styled and finished. All rooms are private, with en-suite bathrooms which are fitted with a bath and shower; a private entrance in-house, as well as a patio area outside with a parking bay at the room. In-room facilities include Wi-Fi access, air-conditioning, electric blankets, a bar fridge and complimentary guest amenities and tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided.
The old houses dating back to 1800, have been restored to their original state and have their own reception, lounge area and fireplace to welcome the guests and are within walking distance from each. They can be booked for individual couples or family groups.
The expansive herb and vegetable gardens are laid out in a wagon-wheel formation with central focal dams ‘Watermollen’ and ‘Perdedam’. The water flows past the houses in a series of canals. The abundant fresh produce that’s lovingly coaxed from these gardens supplies the popular Bellevue Restaurant, formerly the district’s schoolhouse.
The Bellevue Restaurant serves an a la carte menu that includes pizza, salads, sandwiches and meat dishes. Guests can enjoy a scrumptious meal or for a relaxing afternoon, and enjoy a cocktail while watching the most amazing sunset.
There is a swimming pool close to the restaurant and fountain sprinklers for smaller kids.

My wife was unfortunate in that when she came down the stairs and stepped on the floor, the floorboard, which is obviously very old, broke and sprained her foot. I understand they want to preserve the original old floor, but it's now at a point where it's dangerous. The one time environmental conservation fee of R480 was a surprise and we see it was mentioned on the booking but not the exact amount. It would be good to know this so that one can plan. It may also influence your decision to stay there. We couldn't afford the wild ride. I feel they should incorporate the fee into the accommodation and game drive fees instead. Then people who go to view the wildlife will contribute proportionally more which is only fair.
This is the third time we have stayed at Botlierskop. And every time is an experience. We rest well, meals from the books, and the friendliest staff who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you Botlierskop, once again you did not disappoint! It was delicious! See you again one day.
Food was delicious and the rooms and service were excellent, from the top shelves. We will definitely go there again.
The Village @ Botlierskop is in a beautiful valley. The accommodation is comfortable and stylish and the restaurant offers affordable, tasty meals. The staff are friendly and helpful.
