We really enjoyed it, rooms are nice and big, electric blankets were a bonus in the cold time we were there.
The Sunflower Room is the best of all the rooms. Spacious, private and comfortable with its own veranda.

We were visiting our son who studies at the University of Pretoria. The Village is very conveniently located. Some problems (related to loadshedding and the new solar installation) were quickly attended to and we were offered alternatives as well as a complimentary breakfast. Friendly and attentive staff.
The Villiage is close to UP's student accommodation and this made visiting our son nice and easy. Thank you to our hostesses who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and didn't get impatient, we really appreciate your effort with us!. The rooms are equipped with everything needed, and are very neat and clean, we slept wonderfully. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

We have already stayed twice at The Village in Hatfield. Definitely worth the money for parents who have to take children to university. Will definitely stay there again.
Comfortable and convenient.
I forgot a pair of shoes and they contacted me and I went to collect them later. Honest, clean, tidy, fast and nimble service and recommend. Everything was neat and clean.
First, the photo of the room differs from the website. Photos only show the bed, not the bathroom at all or the corner where the kettle and a microwave oven take your breath away and where the old food is still stuck everywhere when you open it. Sunflower Room was our first booking. There was no shower only a bathtub which is very inconvenient for older people, although the owner moved us to another room.
We came to visit my mom, who is in a retirement village. She was not healthy at all, so we were tired. Esme made us feel very welcome and we really felt it was our "home away from home". The Village has a lovely atmosphere and everything is well looked after. The breakfast was delicious and I can go on like this. We will definitely visit The Village again!
As a "habit traveler" this stay was truly something I would recommend to everyone. Friendly reception and a particularly neat place to stay are always at the top of my list. Thank you very much.
