Very friendly welcome and the space itself is clean, tidy and comfortable. Everything works within the unit and I felt safe as a solo guest.
It was great. I love the family cinema app where you can watch any movie or series, even new releases from cinema quality movies. The TV was well mounted across the bed. The shower is big, but there should be a shower door installed because the water gets everywhere. The hot water cools off very quickly, so that just needs to be adjusted. Overall, the modern plate stove was great, and I cooked things very quickly, so even if you are hungry, food making on that stove is super fast. I love the fact that there was oil on hand, and salt and pepper, as well as coffee and tea with milk sachets and creamer. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend going back there for a getaway. A great place for you introverts to enjoy and be private from the world outside.
Of all the places we have visited through Lekkaslaap, this is definitely one of our top 5 places to stay in Cape Town. Not only were we received exceptionally kindly by Leopoldt upon arrival, but we were pleasantly surprised by the "cozy" perfect unit. Attention has even been paid to the little things in the unit to make the guests feel welcome. We arrived as strangers, but left feeling almost like family.
The Vine is excellently located and Leo made us feel particularly welcome. The service was very good and we could just ask Leo for help at any time and it was provided. Leo is a very good host and I would recommend others to use The Vine anytime.
