No covered parking. Three rooms share one bar fridge that stands in the hallway. No bedside table on one side of the bed.
Linda was a very welcoming host. Our accommodation was comfortable - the rooms are inside the family home which one may not realise when booking. It's not right in the town of White River - about a 10 minute drive to a dinner venue. The one bedroom has a toilet facing the bed with no door /screen - some may not be comfortable with this.
Upon our arrival, Linda immediately made us feel at home with her spontaneous nature. The house and yard are clean and tidy and the view is fantastic. For my wife and I, it was literally just what the doctor ordered.

The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful and make you feel right at home. The view is breathtakingly beautiful from the porch. The en suite bathroom is not what we expected. The en-suite bathroom is part of the room and is not separate at all. The toilet facilities are open and if someone wants to use the toilet the other person has to sit on the stoep. When you lie on the bed you stare into the toilet, no door. The wall plugs are linked with an extension and the extension runs under the carpet. A whole crane of wall plugs is then visible on the dressing table. They can also just mention that there is no separate entrance to your room, you have to walk through the house. The rooms do not have a microwave, kettle, basic cutlery and crockery as they advertise.

Guesthouse has a great location in Sheffield Estate close to Witrivier with nice patio and beautiful view of the dam and the birdlife. The host lady was very friendly - tends to requests in a wonderful way.
