The room was clean and tidy, exactly as per the photos. Big bathroom with heated towel rails, electric blankets on the bed. WiFi was excellent and I could work seamlessly. Dalene's staff are excellent and polite. I enjoyed my stay very much and shall stay there again for sure.
My mother and I have stayed at The Wild Fig twice. It is always clean and tidy. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Perfect location, neat, friendly staff and ideal for a family who is worried that they won't be able to keep the children quiet in a hotel or guest house, 2 separate rooms with a shared bathroom are perfect for enough space for the children also to offer.
We had a great time staying there for the week. Guesthouse is very central to the Bellville/Durbanville area. Rooms cleaned and serviced every day. Kitchen area is a bit small and not really suitable for more than coffee & tea and maybe heating something up in the microwave.

We were in and out quickly with one night's sleepover, but it was really a pleasure for us to meet our hosts and be able to stay with them. Dalene went to great lengths, even putting on electric blankets for us when she knew we were coming in late. Would definitely recommend booking their breakfast together, it was lovely.

The hostess and host went out of their way to treat an injury that I suffered through my inattention that evening at the guest house. If it hadn't been for them, I doubt whether I would have been able to make the long journey to Pretoria the next morning. It is rare that people go out of their way to help a stranger to the extent that they did. Thank you very much, you guys.

We had a great time. The yard is large and beautiful. Our children could play outside and swim with the fishes in the sponge pool. The hospitality was wonderful and the peaceful atmosphere was so nice. 2 Beautiful clean rooms with itw bedding. I would definitely recommend it to visitors. Thank you very much.

Excellent service and neat accommodation for a family.
We had all the extra comforts like filter coffee and homemade rusks. Dalene even made sure the kids had some fruit juice and put joghurt and muesli in the cottage for us. There isn't an actual kitchenette - just a fridge, kettle microwave but crockery and cutlery supplied in the one room. Lovely garden and friendly dogs for the kids to play with. Was ideal stay for a wedding venue on a wine farm nearby.
Will definitely stay there again.
