Winters are great, spent around the fire and bar area. If you are lucky you could be greeted by magnificent views of snow covered mountains or wild Eland that often frequent the garden. Summers can be spent frolicking in one of the many nearby mountain pools, walks in the mountains, horse riding, golf, trout fishing, tubing and mountain biking.

2 guests' feedbackThere was no electricity and no backup. We were told by the cleaner that there would be hot water via the gas systems, but the water was ice cold. The ceilings had cobwebs. There were no towels available.
We had a wonderful time at ThelJean. Anne, the housekeeper, is so helpful and we could buy firewood directly from her. Be sure to take extra blankets and maybe your own heaters in winter as the cold comes in through the windows and doors - a proper berg cottage! We loved it. The kitchen is open-plan, so the images are not the same. But the place is even better in person. A wonderful, big lawn for kids to play. And the little bar area was just perfect!
