Exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, without being overbearing, and they were so accommodating to my 4-year-old who treated this like home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway over the long weekend as we didn't have to drive far for entertainment and food. We were even treated to breakfast at Thomson's, so we had relaxed mornings.
Slept very well.
We were only in for one night and had to check out early due to our flights Reception left us a breakfast pack and coffee and check out was very easy to arrange.
The room needs a noticeable upgrade (it is very "dated" to use the English word). Little things like the blanket that looks old and feels heavy. The bedside table needs a coat of paint and the bedside lamp's plastic is cracked with age. The room was cold and impersonal. I had to ask for a hairdryer the next morning as there was none in the room. Couldn't use the heater either because there wasn't an "adapter" for the type of plug. Cheap coffee on the tray. I wouldn't call it value for the price I paid.
The owners made us feel at home. we have never experienced such warmth at a guest house. The atmosphere is so peaceful. The breakfast was sufficient. It's not always when you are able to engage in such amazing conversations with the owners, but their transparency and words of wisdom really add value to your stay. We hope God always bless them in abundance. We will definitely choose their guesthouse again.
Parking can be a problem.
The only issue was the doubled-up parking in the garage. If people needed to leave early we were woken up to move cars.
Very neat and safe. Good location because we had to be at the hospital. Friendly staff, but reception staff absent. It would also have been nice to get a small breakfast (snacks) in the mornings for the rate per night that is being asked. You can think about purchasing a generator during loadshedding. If the power is off, there is no water supply either.
Enjoyed the stay, everything was neat and comfortable.
When I arrived the guest house wasn't prepared for me. They did not know I'm staying over the night. So I had to wait so that they can get a room ready for me.
The accommodation is dated and was a disappointing booking for a Constantia area. The photos show the room after a fresh paint and light carpets. It is not what we expected - carpets had horrible marks on it and the room needs paint and upgrade. Breakfast was included in the price. To our disappointment, we were told (in July 2022) that due to Covid there is no hot breakfast. I won't embarrass them by disclosing what their "cold breakfast" consisted of. Don't mislead guests- there are thousands of properties to choose from.
Very quiet place, neat, accessible and feels like home.
Breakfast was included but only continental. Hot breakfast was not available without prior notice and would be charged for.
I booked the budget room which although small contained everything I needed.
The accommodation was exactly as I saw it on the website.
Friendly, professional, clean and neat and definitely value for money as a single traveller. Location is beautiful.
Pleasant and welcoming, slept well and so close to the Medi Centre. Very welcoming and pleasant, did advertise breakfast, but it was not a full breakfast.
Problem with WiFi connection.
If you say there is WiFi, make sure the signal is strong enough.
The accommodation was a bit over priced for the standard room and area however the host is very friendly. The place sells itself as Constantia, but isn't really located in the area and doesn't give the same look and feel.
