We had a comfortable stay at Three Sisters Guest Farm on a very cold winter's night. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed to curl up into. The guest house is well situated and easy to find just off N1 freeway. A very warm welcome from the reception, going the extra mile.
We are so grateful to have discovered Three Sisters Guest Farm! It's great value for money and is definitely our first choice for overnight stays around our country from now on.
Three Sisters Guest Farm is ideally located for an overnight stop between Gauteng and Cape Town. The unit is well equipped for basic self-catering and pets being allowed is a bonus.
We were pleasantly surprised by the Central Karoo hospitality and warm welcome in the most beautiful tranquil setting. This is the perfect spot to overnight. We were also spoilt with a spectacular display of stars in the cool night sky. I am adding this place to my list of favourites!

After a hot day and 800 kilos, a swim was what we needed. Deliciously grilled and outside in nature with feelings that sing. Outstanding.
From the exit off the N1 you do not see much. But only 800 metres from the N1, a lush oasis appears with lovely, large and beautifully maintained gardens, ponds, trees, etc. The animals that surround the area are just a treat for the soul. The communal braai area is nestled under the trees, providing much needed shade on a hot day. Will definitely stay over again on our next trip.
The Three Sisters Guest Farm is a magnificent oasis in the Karoo. The gardens are beautiful, offering plenty of shade and peacefulness. It is the perfect place to stop and break up a long journey through the Karoo. Better yet, stay a few nights to soak in the fresh air.
We were very satisfied with everything at Three Sisters Guest Farm. There was no air conditioner, but we had a table and chairs outside and a swimming pool for our use.

Perfect place to stay overnight on the way to Cape Town. Friendly hostess, delicious barbecue buns, neat barbecue facilities, shower curtain needs to be replaced or washed, the room was nice and clean, beautiful Karoo farm.
Beautiful surroundings. We were received very kindly and the room is tidy.
I travelled for business and literally got in just before sunset and left before sunrise. I did get to walk around the farm quickly before sunset and what a lovely place. The hostess was lovely and welcomed me very warmly. The accommodation is a little dated, but warm and cosy was what I needed and that is what I received.
Nothing better than walking on the farm in front of the sun and breathing in the fragrant, fresh Karoo air!

Our overnight stay was okay. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect. Our room was spacious, although a bit cramped with perhaps one bed too many, making the little dining table and chairs virtually impossible to use. The shower curtain should be replaced, and the mold inside the shower cleaned. The old and very tired little ceiling fan was completely ineffective in a room of that size, making it virtually impossible to sleep in the extremely hot room. The outdoor braai area was fabulous and perfect for a hot summer evening in the Karoo.

Coffee and sugar containers need attention. Wasn't clean. No milk or cold water. No meat trays for barbecuing.
Accommodation is conveniently located, not too far from main road, rooms clean and adequate for overnight stay. (Maybe pay attention to new linen, blankets, pillows etc. It's already a bit washed out, old).
Waze and Google Maps could not find the destination. We had to call to find out where to turn off. It was stressful. Beautiful farm, beautiful gardens. Nicolette was friendly but could have made more effort to receive us. We arrived during loadshedding. She gave 2 faint lamps. We had no idea how long loadshedding would last. We asked for a bottle of boiling water, which she gave. Would have been so nice if she had boiled water and biscuits ready, after a long day on the road. No TV in room. So we just sat there in a dark room in the middle of the Karoo and waited for things to get better. They have no security, but she said that it was very safe. As Gautenians (my mother and I) we were scared. She gave us a room, closer to reception, than the one we booked so we didn't have to walk so far to unload our luggage. However, this room was not clean. Beds neatly made but full of dust and cobwebs, paint peeling off walls, smell of septic tank outside, pillow smelled like someone else slept on it. We had a large cooler and asked about freezer facilities. There was a bar fridge in the room. Feel she could have offered to freeze some of our things with her, so our ice bricks have defrosted. There were workmen outside busy in the garden when we left in the morning. She wasn't there. However, her father was sitting outside. My mother is 80 and we just felt a reasonable person would have asked his workers to help carry our bags etc. Overall they just weren't very helpful and we were left to fend for ourselves. Nicolette was friendly, but not attuned to her guests' needs. R850 per night for such a shabby room was certainly not value for money.
