The lodge offers accommodation in a choice of 2 free-standing chalets; the 2-sleeper Kudu and the 4-sleeper Elephant.
Chalet Kudu is an open-plan chalet furnished with a king-size bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. Chalet Elephant is suitable for a family and contains a queen-size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the loft area.
There is a kitchenette in each chalet that is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, and kettle. Additional facilities in each chalet include air-conditioning, a mosquito net, toiletries, bath- and swimming towels, and a braai area on the private patio.
Guests can enjoy a swim in the communal swimming pool or simply relax poolside while enjoying the views. The nature reserve is also home to a variety of animal and bird life which can be spotted on walks.

7 guests' feedbackThe cottages have their own braai on each stoep with a view over the field. Well equipped. Wood is provided for braai facilities. Very nice pool and lapa section to cool off. Worth it!
Wonderful, clean and very tidy accommodation.
We had a nice stay, but the unit was never serviced: floors were not swept, trash can not emptied, extra toilet paper not provided. WiFi was down during load shedding. No water during load shedding; therefore could not use toilet during load shedding. Under carport parking is not suitable for vehicles with roof racks or tall vehicles - roof very low.
Nice stay, but the area outside the lodge is very neglected and not at all like the photos on the websites. Crocodile area smells bad and neglected.
The unit is very neat and the grounds get 10 out of 10 for cleanliness. However, the dirt road of 4 km from the town to the lodge is quite poor.
Peace and quiet. attention to detail in the wonderful garden surroundings. Lovely walking paths. We really had a fantastic time and the best of all was there was no TV. Yeah.
I would recommend Thula Lodge anytime. Thank you so much Kevin and his team for our wonderful stay. You guys will definitely see us again. The self catering houses have everything you need and even more. This was great!
