Each kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, cooking utensils, a microwave, kettle and a toaster. The living area features a TV with a limted DStv package. You are allowed to bring your own decoder and snartcard should you require more programmes. There is a communal braai room available for all guests at Tidal Pools. On-site parking is provided.
We do not provide bedding, towels and cleaning materiels. Bedding and towels can be rented from a private entity in Jongensfontein.

The wind was unpleasant but we traded time in front of the built-in braai where I could read my book in peace. Everything was neat.
Stunning view and value for money.
The place was nice and spacious. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable. The location is perfect. Love the indoor grill too.
If you are looking for down-to-earth, honest (what you see is what you get). Great! Go ahead and book! Proximity to the sea is amazing and the view with the sounds of waves crashing can't be beat. My only recommendation is for the site to highlight/emphasise that there is nothing other than cutlery and beds. I only saw in the body of everything after booking there is no bedding supplied etc. But after all is said, it is a back-to-basics unit that delivered all we needed for our stay. Also a reminder email with a reminder of what is "needed "(bedding/towels etc.) with a map possibly would be a good idea?
View was great. We traveled by motorbike and were disappointed to hear that we had already paid and bedding was not provided. Quite problematic if you are touring by motorbike. Photos show bedding (to make it look nice according to owner) but right after paying you find out there is no bedding. Please change the photos to photos without bedding, it creates a false impression.
Was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The boiler was just broken, but we had alternative option. Will definitely use this accommodation again.

The place was neat, clean, practical and comfortable. The service was great and friendly. My family and I will definitely come again. The indoor barbecue at night in the cold weather was an absolute plus.
We had a great vacation! I wish we could just stay a month or longer. The accommodation was very comfortable, the indoor braai an absolute plus as the wind tends to come up towards the sea in the evening. The only request we had (due to the sea, and sand and rust, etc. the front door lock didn't work so well) was attended to immediately and the lock was replaced in no time. Armand and his wife were very helpful! I would definitely recommend Tidal Pools to anyone. Next year we are definitely booking for at least 2 weeks!
I am of the opinion that the accommodation is very neat and would advise anyone to make use of it.
Service was excellent! DStv wasn't working, but Armandt was there quickly and sorted it out for us straight away!

Excellent location with amazing views. Good size rooms and beds. The kettle didn’t boil properly and the one shower has issues with not keeping steady temperature. Kitchen utensils needed a good clean - other than that - a very enjoyable stay and we will back! Thank you.
The unit was clean and tidy, the bed we slept on was comfortable and our sea view from our bedroom and living room was very beautiful. Good value for money and highly recommended from two satisfied Free Staters.

Really enjoyed the break, the stay was excellent.
The reception was very friendly and the problem with the hot water system was attended to immediately even though it was on a Sunday. The residential unit is nice and clean. Some attention could possibly be paid to the curtains. We will definitely visit Tidal Pools again it is everything we expected. Our deposit was refunded the same day we vacated. Our Gautengesrs are certainly not used to such security.
We haven't had such a good time in a long time. Beautiful and spacious units, within walking distance form everything. Very safe, stunning environment and friendly people. Really felt at home. Will definitely go relax there again.
The view of the ocean was wonderful and everything is walking distance from the apartment. The building needs some attention - taps and pipes lead, toilets are noisy and doors struggle to open and close. The single bed mattresses are also dilapidated, but the beautiful area made up for it.
I made the booking om my parents' behalf. They enjoyed it so much. The calmness, sea view and the neatness.
Mattresses were old and uncomfortable. If they replace that, we would definitely return.
It was very cozy and nice on the sea. Accommodation was clean.
