Pleasant and a good experience to stay in the recently renovated Tierra Pequena B&B and Equestrian Estate. The generator connected to the electrical system is an absolute bonus during load shedding. The only drawback is the DSTV package, which has the bare minimum!
The place was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen ideal for a family. The pool and braai area were perfect for family time. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs a break from the busy city and who needs some rest.

The Horseman unit is a spacious apartment with all the amenities you may need. We only stayed one night, but will definitely book there again. My husband usually sleeps badly and even he says it's the best sleep he's ever had.
Absolutely blissful, didn't know there was such a thing as load shedding. We always have a great time. Lindi goes out of her way to make life easier for people and her ladies who work for her and come to clean are damn cute and incredibly helpful with everything. You simply rest better.
The village is nice and quiet, yet against the town. A further bonus is the power system and water supply which is independent of the load shedding.
We were warmly received and felt at home from the first moment. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which has everything you need. Load power was never a problem either, thanks to a generator at our disposal. We felt safe in and around the house from our arrival to our departure! Great accommodation! Best in Potchefstroom.
We will stay there again anytime when we go to Potchefstroom. It has a farm atmosphere, yet you are in the city. Very neat and value for money. The hostess is incredibly hospitable and we immediately felt at home. There was even a welcome sign to welcome us!

The guesthouse was our resting place during university registration and so was ideal to get away from the busy town after a long day with a nice pool and comfortable room.
The garden has the most beautiful roses in the driveway and even more are planted along the one fence. Swimming pool nice and clean. We were only there for one night, but the time we were there, it was very peaceful and had a great barbecue.

This is not our first time staying here and I can say with great confidence that it has been excellent every time. The rooms are beautifully equipped, the large and delicious stoep is such a big bonus with a nice table to visit or work at, a nice braai, sitting area and swimming pool. Hospitality at Tierra Pequena is just amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, Lindi and her staff really do everything in their power to make our stay as perfect as possible. This is really my first choice accommodation in Potch. Oh, and of course Bonnie and I are best friends now too.
It is a very neat place to stay with all the facilities under cover. Place is very clean and the rooms very luxurious. Stayed in the African Room. Breakfast was really nice with 3 meat dishes which is a nice treat. Could walk around the stables and rub their heads. Was a pleasant experience. I recommend them with a clear heart.

We are not very fond of the city and its noise and had to spend the night in Potch. The quiet, clean, large and well-equipped rooms and secure covered parking met all our expectations. Lindi made us feel welcome and kept us informed, even though she was not there on the weekend. With the heat wave that hit the Free State and the North West at the weekend, the beautiful garden, swimming pool and air conditioning were a relief for us Bloemfonteiners. Will definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
My wife and I stayed at Tierra Pequena for 3 days in December 2018 after considering various accommodation options in Potchefstroom. It was the best choice for sure. The estate is located on the side of Bailey Park in Potchefstroom in a quiet "farm setting" and is within 10 minutes of the Mooirivier Mall and restaurants. The hostess, Lindi and her husband, received us warmly from the first moment and ensured that our every little need was met - it really made us feel very special. Our room (the Bohemian Room) was nice and spacious with a comfortable shower, nice big bed and the air conditioning was a winner in 36 degree temperatures. Plus there is a beautiful little pool to cool off in. The "in room breakfast" was completely sufficient for us and we just arranged with Lindi on the day of our departure for a continental breakfast that exceeded all our expectations - it was something special. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Potch other than Tierra Pequena - it was a drain on the soul.

Slept very well on the comfortable beds. Just a pity that the English room's bathroom is down the hall, even though it is private only for the specific room. On the web, the bathroom is not 100% detailed, it is only described as "private bathroom". The "blue" room was beautiful with a spacious en-suite bathroom. The place is very quiet and private, with aircon. The in-room breakfast was delicious, especially the muffins. Just a pity that two guests had to share one yogurt, but it wasn't fatal. The fruit juice was delicious. The coffee facilities were interesting. Coffee always tastes better when there is fresh milk and a variety of coffee, such as e.g. ground coffee with a plunger. Was nice! Will definitely stay there again but not in the English room. Will make sure to book early enough to get one of the other rooms. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We had to attend a weddingn in Potch so we booked two rooms. Jan treated us to a warm welcome, arranged with Lindie beforehand to braai on the Friday night, everything we needed was there, nice braai, Saartjie tidied up on the Saturday, she is very friendly and pleasant! Quiet, peaceful area, such a nice stay. We will definitely be back. Just a pity we couldn't play golf on the Saturday morning, it rained cats and dogs, but we are thankful for every drop.

The rooms have been decorated with carefully selected quality furniture and beds. Each air-conditioned room has a fully equipped kitchenette. No cooking facilities are available. The Horseman cottage is a two-bedroom family apartment with a private entrance, garden and braai facility. This unit is self-catering and can sleep 4 adults and 1 child. This unit can accommodate one small, house-trained dog only.
At the Stables is one of the five original farmhouses of the greater Vyfhoek farm, built-in 1893, carefully renovated and furnished with mostly antique furniture to enhance the farm lifestyle of the previous century. The farmhouse has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, is self-catering and can sleep 6. The farmhouse is pet friendly with its own enclosed garden and braai facilities and is situated at the stables separate from the guest house.
We also offer a swimming pool, undercover patio area including braai facilities, crockery, cutlery and a basin. Guests may also relax in the common lounge with a mini library for the reader.
A safe environment is created by the 2 m high electric fence with remote-controlled gates and undercover parking away from the gate entrance.
We have horses from time to time on the estate but not for the use of the guests. Rabbits, chickens and ample birdlife roam the huge gardens. Tierra Pequena is for the person who loves nature, birdsong, tranquillity, and warmth.
