Facilities can be renovated, but clean and adequate. However, what stood out was Clinton's and his team's excellent service. The meals were very good and really affordable. We were the only group and the silence was just what we needed. The highlight was the dinner around the fire ─ the staff really made it difficult.
Clinton looked after us very well. He made good food and went out of his way to look after us. The units are clean and comfortable. I would recommend it for accommodation while on business in the area.
There was no reception by anyone. Nothing I had arranged in advance was in place. Rooms are minimally furnished. Had to use the worker's barbecue area. Geyser leaked and bathroom wet mess. Had to constantly walk by myself and arrange things with the worker. Breakfast was ice cold and very expensive.
Adorable, quiet place. Will definitely recommend it to someone who loves nature. Staff are friendly and helpful. Mandla and his team are great.
It was a breathtaking weekend. The beautiful scenic area. Excellent customer service and the food was out of the books delicious!
The reception from Mandla was friendly and he made us feel at home upon arrival. Food was top quality from morning - to dinner. Rooms are private and "cozy". Will definitely book again.
We received a friendly welcome and were escorted to our chalet. The lodge was quiet on this out-of-season weekend and we were the only guests. A lot of effort had been made to assure our comfort. The accommodation is comfortable and big. Our firewood was already packed and ready to be lit. The only downside was trying to phone the lodge with very little phone signal at the gate and the meals at the restaurant were quite pricey. Other than that the prices were reasonable and highly recommended for a quick weekend getaway.
Food was delicious and the staff very friendly. There is almost nothing that both websites say there is. So not value for money.
