My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Titanic View - Place of Peace. It was very neat and safe and we loved the style of the apartment and how modern it was. There was also plenty of cutlery, crockery and other appliances.

The unit exceeds all expectations with a dish of exceptional comfort and is excellently equipped. We not only enjoyed the stay, but were really impressed by the attention, the beauty of the surroundings and the careful decor of the room. The view, which is described as breathtaking, gives a unique character to the space. The dedicated make-up pads added a special touch of luxury. However, it is the kindness and hospitality of the hosts that really stand out, from the moment we arrived they welcomed us with a smile and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and hospitable accommodation experience. We sincerely look forward to staying here again in the future and enjoying this unique oasis of comfort and hospitality again!
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the dogs, Luka and Solly. It is a very nice luxury place to stay and the garden is very nice, just a pity for all the statues and meditation house which unfortunately were not beautiful for us and did not agree anymore. There was also no braai place. At least they brought us a gas grill which we really appreciate.
The only complaint I would have was that the bed was small and uncomfortable.

We stayed in Cottage 3 for a weekend. It was very neat and arrangements were well communicated with us in advance. The arrival and going home was very easy, the cottage was very clean, bedding was good quality and beds slept well. The electric blankets are a big bonus, we needed them. The accommodation is walking distance from the Clarens shops and very safe to walk around in the evenings. Beautiful gardens and wonderful view. Will definitely stay there again, 10 out of 10.

We stayed in unit three. It had everything we needed for the weekend, was spotlessly clean and a very nice touch was the heated sheets as we visited Clarens during a cold spell. Aircon and a very hot shower were also plus points for the cold. It is five minutes walk to the centre square so no need to use your vehicle. Beautiful views from the garden. The hosts are also very friendly so all in all, very highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Clarens.

Titanic View is highly recommended, our room and en-suite bathroom were spacious, very clean and very tidy. Breakfast every morning was excellent and the hostess/manager Anneke made us feel very welcome and very much at home. Our fellow traveler's room and bathroom were also of high quality. The large garden is very well maintained and together with the beautiful view over the mountains, and the short walking distance to town, everything contributed to a very pleasant 2 day stay here.

Would like to see perhaps looking into sun and hail protection for cars as there were heavy downpours and hail during my stay. Security: locking safes in rooms would also be appreciated.
The initial impressions exceeded all expectations. The drivers received us professionally and provided an exceptional personal service that ensures we will return to Titanic view. Her breakfasts over the two days were excellent and added a lot to the experience. The view is something special and the room is laid out in such a way that it could be fully enjoyed. There is not a single item to complain about. I think on the contrary the place is under marketed!

We would recommend Titanic View to anyone. We felt very welcome from the first minute we walked in there. The accommodation is very nice and tidy and the breakfast is delicious with a large selection of food to choose from. We also felt very safe. Titanic View is within walking distance of all the nice shops and restaurants in Clarens.

We had a great time at Titanic View - what a treat. Just a pity we couldn't stay longer, my husband even said we would definitely return and stay there again. And next time we will definitely have breakfast - the aroma was wonderful (we had a breakfast appointment elsewhere with some friends). The room is spacious and very comfortable. The lovely garden and the beautiful area from the patio to the mountain was wonderful. Even though it was autumn, a bit cold, the sun warmed us nicely during our time there! The luxurious bathroom was a nice treat, and the carpet in the room was so soft. Friendly reception - cozy bed linen and soft towels, home-baked rusks - we really appreciated it.

We can definitely recommend Titanic View. Initially we only would have stayed for 1 night but we made it longer by staying another night. Guesthouse very tidy, shaded parking will help a lot on hot days and in winter.
Room 4 is so nice and warm during the winter and the down duvet wasn't even necessary. Room 4 is bathed in sun the whole day. The separate bathroom might be a bother to other guests. Breakfast was delicious. Cold mugs and cold milk unfortunately makes for lukewarm coffee.
Very nice stay, warm welcome. Some unfinished maintenance hindered comfort and privacy, i.e. One room did not have door on bathroom fitted.
One of the main reasons we booked at the Titanic View was for the view and beautiful outlook as shown in the photographs. We had the flatlet and it has huge glass sliding doors which open directly onto the car park, your only view is of the vehicles parked in front of you. You cannot ever open your curtains as there is no privacy at all, all the guests and staff look directly into your bedroom. Looking again at the website very closely, as I could not understand how I had made this mistake, you will see the curtains of this unit closed. In my view this is false advertising. Besides other things lacking for a 4 star establishment, there are no bedside rugs, to dry your hair you have to balance a tiny mirror on top of the microwave as there is no mirror in the bedroom.

Our family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed and experienced Titanic View. The guest house has, just as its name says, a direct view of the Titanic Rock and the mountain in Clarens. Indulge in the freshly baked carrot cake, muffins on the large open porch. It's a 5 minute walk from Clementines restaurant and the square, but quiet and peaceful - ideal position. The manager (Yolani) is keen on small details and made sure that everything was always perfect. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. We will definitely stay here again and can recommend it!

The hostess, Ulali, did her job very well and received and treated us with kindness. We would like to have a shower and would like to suggest that glass partitions be fitted to the front of the bath. And there were no hangers in the closets - would like to see hangers provided.
On arrival we immediately felt welcome with Yolandi as hostess. The rooms were a pleasant surprise and we believe we got the best room in the guesthouse! In the evenings it was nice to go and sit in front of the crackling fireplace with a nice sherry. The peace of the guesthouse ensures total relaxation. The rooms are very convenient with lovely bathrooms. The family unit was very comfortable and appropriate especially with a teenager who could enjoy her own space and bathroom. Obviously mom and daughter loved Pepper, the dog. The breakfast each morning was delicious with a different dish and baked goods every day. It was truly a lovely weekend. Suggestion: A table with information regarding attractions, activities, shops and restaurants in the area. An introduction book on Clarens' history and current developed status (it would make pleasant reading material for in front of the fire). An info booklet in the room with emergency contacts, WiFi and the menu for breakfast. A welcome gift (soap) with the towels on the bed or by the bedside table a small chocolate maybe. A heater in the en suite bathroom. There was not enough hot water to shower or bath. Snacks in the fridge (juice and stuff to eat). The door from the rooms to the house's front room has a latch lock on the front door side that is not accessible from the rooms to unlock and this lock's key was not given together with the guest keys.
The location is within walking distance of the town center. Beautifully clean with a delicious breakfast. We would have liked if they replaced the towels, and the heat was not always sufficient. We did not appreciated the fact that the hostess rushed us to finish breakfast quickly and evacuate the table as her staff wanted to go home. On the whole it was a good experience. It was a lovely stay and I can definitely recommend it.

Bedding was not changed, this was bad. Bats area a huge problem. Did not sleep well.
Stayed 2 nights in Clarens, very empty at this time of year so not the usual buzz you would get when visiting during the summer or at weekends. We had some problems with the hardness of the pillows on the first night, but they were changed very promptly which was great. Overall the stay was good.
