The hostess was prepared for my arrival by making sure the room was warm as it was the middle of winter and my arrival was after 19:00. The bed is comfortable and provision has been made for the winter cold. Room is neat and clean.
Extremely friendly reception. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Roads in town were extremely bad. Street names were unclear.
The Top House B&B is a hidden gem in Ladybrand. The room is a few steps from your car in a secure gated area. A lovely surprise to find an electric blanket in a super comfortable bed to keep us snug and warm. Tea, coffee and cookies were provided in our room and we were treated to a hearty breakfast before we continued on our journey. Thank you Zanalee. We really appreciated the personal effort you put into making us feel so at home. You really do Top House B&B proud. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. I can highly recommend Top House B&B to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay in Ladybrand. We will definitely stop here again.

The reception was warm and cordial and the room met all the requirements. Parking was safe: always a relief when travelling by car. The breakfast was not great.

From our arrival we were met with a smile, the rooms are comfortable with all you need, with beautiful gardens. The manager went out of her way to assist us with all we need. Great breakfast in the morning.

The name Top House fits this spacious, tidy and safe accommodation. Zanalee went out of her way to make everything so comfortable for us. From her prior communication to our departure, she was a hospitable, proud owner. The exceptional breakfast, which was served so carefully, strengthened us to continue our journey. We were sad to leave after such a pleasant stay.

I stayed at 5 venues in small towns on this trip.This was the most expensive and not good value at all in comparison to other venues. Room OK but no bedside lamp on side closest to shower (had to move extension cord myself). Cooked breakfast was almost inedible.

I really enjoyed Top House, from the beautiful old building, the garden, the facilities, the nice breakfast and the friendly efficient service. Zanalee was very professional and friendly. The guesthouse is clean and neat and good value for money, so definitely worth it.
Was hospitably received. Bed and pillows were of good quality. Unfortunately had to drive early the next morning and couldn't have breakfast. Maybe just notice that the kettle's cord does not reach the plug and therefore had to put the kettle on the floor to boil water.
We went for a nice walk and enjoyed the cups around and in Ladybrand. We were able to relax and escape from the noise of cars and people. The breakfast was delicious every day and could actually be described as a brunch. We will definitely do it again.

Would recommend this guest house without reservation. Host and hostess made a lot of effort. Clean and tidy room, heating was available. Good breakfast. Restaurant recommendations were also given to us. Heating and also sherry was provided. Thank you very much!
The receptionist was so friendly that she even put together a morning package for me.
Belinda made us feel at home straight away and the atmosphere and rooms offer a homely feel. The fireplace in my room was also lit, which gave it a warm feeling.
Our stay At Top House was relaxing, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us with any questions that we had. Dawid's information about Lesotho for our trip was excellent and on the money what a brilliant trip we had (when we headed into Lesotho). The house is cosy and makes you feel like you are at home. If we are ever down in that side of the world again we will be booking into Top House for our stay. Thank you for a great holiday!!
