We just slept over. The peaceful environment was pleasant. The facility was pretty clean and tidy.

The standard of accommodation will need to be reviewed.
Great value for money.
Clean and reasonably comfortable, but not completely self-sufficient. No fridge or cleaning products, difficult to make or eat anything and no possibility for breakfast, far to walk for breakfast or other meals. Friendly owners, but no contact between check-in and check-out, was there for almost a week. Garbage not removed in time. Water discolored my silver jewelry ugly, not warned against it. Less suitable for overseas travelers or people without a car.
Very cute place, but not enough crockery for more than 4 people.
It did not live up to expectations at all. When I made the reservation, I specifically asked for 3 bedrooms because we had two adult children accompanying us. The owner did say that there are only 2 rooms with an extra bed in another location. I accepted it as we were only going to spend one night. The extra bed was then in the attic room which was terribly hot without any air conditioning. The bed wasn't made either. Our children then had to share a room, which is an uncomfortable situation for both of us. The owner also has a dog that keeps jumping up at you and messing up your clothes. Would definitely not recommend staying there to anyone.

Amanda was extremely friendly and her place clean and tidy and well secured. The rooms were nice and spacious and even the baby cot was made up so I didn't even have to take out my camping cot. We could unhook our buggy and explore Graaff-Reinet without worrying about the safety of our luggage. We were able to rest well before our next trip to the Cape.
We booked it again for our return trip.
For the hot summer months, an air conditioning system will go down quite well.
Friendly hostess - no complaints about stay.
