10 guests' feedbackIt was lovely, they went to great lengths to get us into our room earlier, the rooms are beautiful and everything super clean, the room service was fantastic, the meal that night in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was too! The service is really very good, and everyone is super friendly! Well done!
On our arrival we were greeted by the gate guard who assigned the parking, then escorted to the reception who handled our check-in very professionally. Room was very neat and evening meal was special and we could each enjoy a glass of wine before dinner, this was of course at our own expense, but certainly worth it.
Nice rooms but very poor standards of equipment. First the fridge wasn't working and there is no WiFi. Hotel changed our room and then the hairdryer blew up when we plugged it in. The fridge was making loud droning noises and the room's safe was loose on a shelf and not secured. Never again. Stay away.
We had a great time at the hotel.
Waiters are talking a lot instead of serving people.

Keep it up and host training workshops for other boutique hotels.
The service was appallingly bad. Room was only provided with one towel, which, after a shower in the evening, resulted in me having to dry off with a wet towel in the morning. The heated towel rail didn't work either. The bedding had seen better days and the "coffee plunger" was broken. The breakfast was a further disappointment. The dishes in the buffet were half cold and I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to cook an egg, which was also not done to my liking. When I went to check out they said the full amount was not paid. This after I had already paid the full amount with my reservation and sent them the proof of payment and showed it to them in person. The staff is inconsiderate and customer service is definitely not a strong point. I am very disappointed and if I could I would want my money back because what I paid for and what I received do not correlate at all. It's definitely not a boutique hotel.

Although difficulties were experienced at the initial stages, they more than made up for the stress encountered. The staff, from receptionist and hotel personnel to the security guard, are all welcoming and always willing to help with everything. The entire place just oozes of luxurious relaxation. The next time I'm in Newcastle I know where to book. I'm definitely recommending it to all my friends and family.
