86 guests' feedbackWe were met by Richard, and he was so friendly and helpful. They had load shedding, but nothing the generator couldn't fix. We did have some noisy neighbours, but Richard spoke to them and they quieted down instantly. Very well-managed lodge, and we cannot wait to come back.
Was a very nice weekend and the service was first class.
Very nice stay not too far out of town. Only the bathroom and kitchen are inconvenient because they are not against the living unit.
We really enjoyed our stay, the manager is very friendly and always ready to assist with anything. They have daily housekeeping for the units and everything was very well kept and maintained.
The places to see around the area were also very nice and beautiful, there was not much noise and everyone respected each other.
Private and clean. The jacuzzi was the highlight of the stay. The only downside was the kitchen sink unit that is rotten, causing the pots and pans underneath to be wet and filthy, but overall it was a good experience.
We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the plunge pool and braai facilities.

You wake up in the morning with a breathtakingly beautiful view. The jacuzzi is fantastic. The houses are beautiful, clean and very tidy.

A little close to the road so you hear the cars and the trucks. Other than that it was great. Hazyview just went down but other than that no complaints.

The luxury glamping tent is beautifully laid out. The jacuzzi is lovely and the braai area very cosy. Private ablution and kitchen are clean and tidy. We were however disappointed in the location of the accommodation. It is very close to the R40, so it was not very quiet as we expected. There are no quiet time rules at the accommodation, so there were other guests playing music from their car until the early hours of the morning.
The Lodge is located right on the high route between White River and Hazyview and there is a lot of traffic and trucks that you hear all day and all night, especially late at night when you hear the chatter and chatter of the people who stay there.
Jacuzzi is freezing cold, no light on veranda so if you want to eat there you have to feel what you are eating. Barbeque far from chalet. Walk very far from the car to the chalet and if it is still raining like with us it is ten times worse. Wooden deck and stairs from chalet to car not lit at all. Frogs everywhere! Advertise WiFi but don't give the password.

Our weekend away at Tranquil Nest was everything we needed and more. The driver was friendly and helpful with directions etc. We stayed in the Francolin chalet and there was everything we needed and more. The Jacuzzi and braai place were a big winner and the DStv on which we could watch the rugby a bonus. The place is ready for a baby who can't crawl yet, so in the future we might book another chalet because our crawling boy kept us busy on the deck. We were greeted every morning with 2 friendly zebras while enjoying our coffee. The Phabeni Gate is a quick 14km away so very easy if you want to visit the Wildlife Park. The place was exactly what we needed for our quick getaway from the city.

Our stay was to short, just for 1 night. The rooms were great, but the kitchen did not match the modern look of the rooms.

When we arrived it was noisy. Loud music from the chalet next to us. It was completely sorted out by the management after 2 attempts and it was wonderfully quiet after that. We would have liked to make a real fire with wood, but there was only a gas grill, which does not create the same atmosphere as a hard coal fire. However, we were shown that they were setting up an outdoor barbecue. The private Jacuzzi was a great treat.

This house has so much space that it does not feel like your on holiday. It feels like a real home. We were 8 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 child and 1 toddler and not once did it feel like we're in each other's way. Everyone were friendly and helpful. And the lady that came to clean for us every day was a star. We had a wonderful time as a family!
We had a very nice weekend getaway at Tranquil Nest. The noise from the cars bothered me in the mornings and evenings, so if you're looking for dead silence, this might not be the place for you. The Jacuzzi on the veranda makes for a very romantic weekend and the cottage was nicely equipped and the bed was fantastic! Very comfortable! The WiFi was also a plus. Would recommend their suggestion for a nice weekend away to do fun things in Hazyview as it is very close to lots of activities.

You hear the highway very early in the morning. Was nice and romantic.
We were not aware that the place is right next to the main road so traffic time but noisy, also the mosquitoes devoured us the first night but they killed us the next day which helped. The Jacuzzi tripped the electricity so couldn't fully enjoy it because the water was cold.

Lovely break with my wife and the 2 children. The service was excellent, facilities of the best and it was fantastic to unwind in the splash pool in the evenings after a lovely day exploring the area.

Everything about this cottage is wonderful. Enjoyed the small gestures left in our room daily. Very private and clean. Staff friendly.
The facility was clean on arrival and the staff was helpful as well. The only problem we had was we wanted to go to a shop late at night and couldn't find anyone to help. We called the number on the gate but the individual was rude and unhelpful.

Although we missed the gate completely in the dark because we could not identify it properly in the dark due to washed out ground entrance and the nameplate on the far left with the gate on the right. Our overnight stay was pleasant, although the traffic was clearly audible. Security is friendly and visible.

The unit we stayed in was very modern, clean and well laid out! The customer service is fantastic. Any queries or requests are answered quickly. The units are a bit close to the main road so the road noise can be a bit disturbing at times.

Without any noise we had tranquility. Tranquil Nest can keep doing what they are doing. We felt very special with the effort you made, the chocolates, roses and the non-alcoholic champagne and the spa which was nice and warm. It is 100% self-catering, there is no picnic basket and no dining arrangements can be made at Tranquil Nest, but at the Lodge next to them there is a restaurant. But we went to eat at Perry's Bridge, Pioniers Pub and Grill. Amazing service and the food is top quality.

Many thanks to the owners of Tranquil Nest, had no problem checking in, got key at the gate and went straight in. We have been married for 10 years, but felt like newlyweds with all the effort you put in. From the nice cleaning, to chocolates on our bed every afternoon, to the delicious muffin you left, which was so nice with a cup of coffee after a whole day in the wildlife park. Will definitely come again, it's so nice and tidy inside, just what we needed.
This is a 5 star resort with your own ablution facilities including wash-up area, fridge, microwave and washing machine. (Shower and basin area is equivalent to ATKV Eiland Spa Standard) The Caravan Stand is level and the power supply is 3 meters away and the barbecue area is superb and grid is clean. Water supply is next to barbecue area and the site is cleaned on a daily basis. The pool is neat and clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne on arrival in the fridge. We have noticed that there is a DStv dish mounted with areal socket. All I can say is wow! Will see me again as the spot is 15 min drive to Kruger Park. Security is superb as they patrol camp on regular basis and they are well groomed and friendly. The only negative response is that you can hear the traffic traveling close by.

We were wonderfully welcomed, received clean towels & daily top ups (coffee etc) as well as chocolates each night. Very clean. Small private pool, which was great after a day of touring around the area. Saw Zebra, Monkeys and Wildebeest from our veranda. Very friendly cat also.
It was great to be alone, which was just what we wanted. I half-expected the owners would be around to meet us, but they weren't. It was a great stay, in a very peaceful environment. I would recommend that the security light between the house and carport be moved, as it shines through glass tile window into bedroom.
The place is clean, very spacious and comfortable.
