A pleasant stay in comfortable accommodation. Many thoughtful little touches to make our visit special. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Having a glass of wine on the balcony while admiring the stunning sea view was a highlight.

The guest house is well situated with easy access to the N2. Everything is very neat and tidy. From the garden, to the rooms, to the public areas, everything is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The place is beautiful with a nice view. It's centrally located near the sea and restaurants. There is no burden of load shedding as there are solar panels which is definitely a big plus.

She is a true hostess with a beautiful heart. She went to show me the upper part of their house and told us we should please. use of their balcony with the beautiful sea view and their braai room. Tranquil Shores is a breathtaking, beautiful self-catering place, with the most beautiful sea view. The place is very neat and clean. I will definitely recommend Tranquil Shores to my family and friends. It's an amazing place to spend the night, or stay there for a week or 2. You will definitely see us checking in as a family again in the month of December at Tranquil Shores. The place has become part of my heart.

The uncle and aunt were very friendly and hospitable, we immediately felt at home. The family atmosphere will make any family feel welcome. They have solar, so there was no load shedding, which was truly a plus. I highly recommend them.

The room was very comfortable and easy to find, while travelling.
There are solar panels, so it was nice not to struggle with load shedding. The people are very friendly and the view from the joint balcony is beautiful.
The location is ideal, quiet and very beautiful. We also really enjoyed the walk down to the beach and the sea view is the most beautiful we have ever experienced.

Neat and quiet place with outside entrance to your room as well as a friendly host. One room with a full kitchenette, WiFi and Netflix (bonus). Rooms have no sea view, but there is a balcony available for guests if needed. There is about a 1km walk to the beach down a path.
Although they are quiet in the background, you are still in the owners' space. I just like more privacy.
The room is very cramped for a family of 4. We couldn't unpack our suitcase anywhere, the cupboards were already full of linen. With the result that our suitcases had to stand next to our beds, and there was already very little room to move between the beds. There is no table to eat at, with the result that we had to sit on the beds and eat. The bathroom is very small, nowhere to put your bath bag or makeup case. The unit's plugs are behind the beds, it was a struggle to get to them. There is an extra plug at the desk, but with 4 people who have to finish at the same time it was quite a struggle. The room is a bit overcrowded with pillows that you don't know what to do with when you take them off the beds. There is an extra bench on which we had to pack everything, with the result that there is no seat. Outside, very bright lights shine into the room, with the result that our room was lit all the time and we therefore had trouble sleeping. Parking was secure and we were able to find the unit easily.
Quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly hosts, rooms are too small for self-catering, OK for bed and breakfast.

Feels like my home.
We had a fantastic time staying here. It's peaceful, safe, beautiful sunrises, sunsets, with the beautiful sea view over the breathtaking ocean. Located close to all that is needed. We were able to walk a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. There are still safe, clean, pristine beaches here. The hospitality was top notch, people with caring hearts. Thank you, we will do it again.

The view and rooms are very nice. Just too close to N2 and a bit disturbing. A bit far out of Wilderness, so you have to drive to the beach. Host and wife very helpful. They may need to provide something like electric blankets in winter.
