We had an appointment at the American consulate and therefore stayed in Tokai and actually quite liked the area. The accommodation was everything we were hoping for. Very welcoming owner. Excellent linen was provided and the bed was very comfortable. The place is private and quiet. The bedroom is on the small side, but the living area is very generous. Would definitely recommend the place and stay there again.

It's clear that a lot of thought and effort has been put into making this place comfortable and visually appealing. One of the standout features of my stay was the apartment's impeccable backup system during loadshedding. Cape Town has been experiencing some very bad black-out periods, and having uninterrupted wifi and power made our stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. I could continue my work and stay connected with our friends without any interruptions, which was a huge relief. The location of Tranquil Tokai is also a major highlight. It's situated in a safe and beautiful area in Cape Town, providing a sense of tranquility and security. We felt comfortable in the area. In summary, my stay at Tranquil Tokai apartment was great. The combination of style, luxury, and reliable utilities during loadshedding truly sets it apart. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and worry-free stay in Cape Town.

If you are going with your partner and not alone, and want some quality time, this isn't a good place to go. You can hear everything from the owners, from talking late at night to when they use the bathroom. It's like it was next to my bed.

The cleanliness of the garden outside the unit is striking. Lovely porch with a modern unit with lots of space. Everything you need from a cash bar to ice cream. Restaurants are also very close. The addition of a sink will be recommended especially for self-catering and braai purposes.

We had a function at the nearby Norval Foundation and had inquired beforehand whether late arrivals would be a problem. It was no problem, we were given a key and could come and go as we pleased. Wayne is unbelievably hospitable and focus on detail. Beautiful, modern unit with comfortable bedding. My daughter and I stayed there for two nights and I really can recommend it. It's close to Blue Route Mall and the American Consulate. Will definitely stay there again.
