Very neat everything was nice and clean. Host has thought of everything, more than enough plugs available and mirrors really one of the best and value for money.
One of the best guest houses we have ever stayed in. From the friendly reception by the owner to our departure, everything was above expectations. It's a beautiful room, tastefully and stylishly furnished, with absolutely everything one might need. The guest house is in a quiet neighborhood, with safe parking, so you can sleep peacefully. If you want to spend the night in that area, this is the place! 5 stars from us. Thank you very much, Cobus and Lois. The Christmas cake was literally the icing on the cake!

Clean and tidy. Very friendly owner. I will never stay at another guest house in Johannesburg again after staying at Tranquil. Great place to stay.
Our stay was very short but the accommodation is beautiful, tidy and in a peaceful, safe environment. Security is very good and the extra effort with the delicious, fresh snacks and breakfast food was much appreciated! Cobus and Lois really go the extra mile or two with their guests and we look forward to visiting them again one day.
We travel a lot and this was one of the best guesthouses! Clean, tastefully furnished and all the amenities. The host sure went the extra mile with lots of extras in unit. Will definitely stay there again, thanks Kobus!

We arrived after midnight due to a car breakdown the previous day and inclement weather at the start of our journey from Cape Town. The hosts were fantastic and we experienced a warm welcome nevertheless. Safe location for parking and premises was secure for both my towing vehicle and camping trailer. We also received advice i.t.o. traffic situation, best travel times, and best route when leaving for Kruger the next day. Will definitely stay there again in the future and is highly recommended. My daughter had a university project to finish and had no problem doing her research and submitting due to the Wi-Fi availability.

We really enjoyed every moment. Our unit was very spacious, comfortable and very tasteful. We were spoiled with snacks that we in no way expected. Lois, thank you very much for that extra treat, breakfast and snacks - as well as our room refreshment, we really appreciate it. Lois and Cobus are fantastic people and immediately made us feel at home. Tranquility is top quality accommodation, a 5 star for me. We will definitely stay there again and definitely recommend it to guests to stay at this wonderful guest house. Safety is also definitely the best.
My daughter went home there and she couldn't get over the kind people who carry her on their hands. They went out of their way to accommodate her and even waited for her in the evening when she came home from the hospital late to make sure she was safe. The apartment is also nicely furnished. Thank you that we still have such thoughtful people in our midst.
Will definitely visit the guest house again. Als is carefully selected, neat and beautiful.
