The cottage is part of the home of local artists, Sally Rush and Margaret Knight, but has a separate entrance and secure parking. Sally and Margaret run their artist's studio from their home. They are great bird-lovers and have been attracting birds to the area for many years. Consequently the birdlife is amazing!
This quaint open-plan cottage can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children. Since it is open-plan, it is only really suitable for a family. It contains a double bed, and 2 single beds that are suitable for children. The modern bathroom contains a shower. Maximum 2 adults and 2 children.
The cottage has a kitchenette, with a 2-plate stove, a microwave and a bar fridge. It has a small living area containing a TV with a DStv decoder. There is also a fan, a heater and an electric blanket to ensure your comfort throughout the year. The charming wooden deck overlooks the indigenous forest, and offers Weber-braai facilities. There is an automatic gate for which you will be given a remote control.

Was a nice and peaceful. To see and listen to the birds here with you while you sit on the stoep and visit is special.
Margaret and Sally welcomed us and were very friendly and helpful. The room at Treehouse Cottage is tidy and well-equipped, and the scenery is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
The cottage is private and the surroundings quiet and peaceful. The balcony overlooks a tree-rich area where loons come to sit in the mornings. It was very special to see. Thank you, Sally and Margaret, for your hospitality.

Margaret and Sandy are fantastic hosts, friendly, helpful without being intrusive. The situation of the cottage in the tree tops is perfect for the bird life that abounds, the Loeries (turago) entertained us non stop and eagerly ate the bananas we shared with them. A very restful place and ideal for a stop over en route to Eastern Cape from Cape Town. Would stop over again if the need arose for sure.
The tree house is clean and tidy and well furnished. Feel free to look at the information about the environment that has been put down for you. It's worth visiting those places. What could be more idyllic than enjoying your morning coffee on the porch while watching the peeps in the trees?
We immediately felt the hospitality, thank you Sally and Margaret! We were welcomed, the tranquility was wonderful and the cottage had everything we needed. The views create a peaceful atmosphere and the accommodation is close to many activities.
